The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns. The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns.

John Oliver had a pretty good segment on Rudy, making the claim that this is exactly who he has always been other than luckboxing (from a political perspective) being mayor during 9-11

I wonder what happens if Iran cancels that multi billion Boeing deal and immediately signs a deal with Airbus and the EU tells the USA to stuff their sanctions.

he picked a seat on camera because he's setting up an alibi. he's typing a text to his wife, "at the yankees game, turning my phone off for the rest of the day!"

Rudy being at the game tonight reminds me of how Trump always used to go. He'd sit in the front row by the Yankee dugout. Probably attended 20-30 games each year; especially big games like the RS or the playoffs. Of course he'd leave by like 4th or 5th inning but it must just kill him he can't do stuff like that anymore.

In a way, he's a prisoner of the fame he always wanted.

There is simply no way to reconcile Trump’s addled brain aggressiveness against every other country in the world. There is a there there. Israel is the only other country in the world with most favored nation status with Trump and that is 95% Trump interacting with Jewish people his entire life.

There is zero reason why we haven’t aggressively ramped up sanctions against Rusher. If it was America First! Russia is a much bigger get direct threat to the US than North Korea or Iran.

"Happy Birthday to Scarlet who will be 6 tomorrow."

"Weeeeeeeeee. What's Mommy doing on tv?"
"She answers questions for the President, the most powerful person in the world."
"Why doesn't he do it?"
"He's very busy, so Mommy answers all the questions for him. She knows everything."
"Weeeeeeeeee."

"...is that something that the President would ask?"
"Uhhhh... I wouldn't know that..."
"Uhhhh... you'll need to ask uhhh, the President that..."
"Uhhhh... you'll have to uhhh, refer to the President's uhhh, outside counsel..."
"Uhhhh... I'm not uhhh, aware..."
"Uhhhh... I don't know that there uhhh, will be one, uhhh..."

"Gee, Daddy, Mommy doesn't know jack****."
"That's right Scarlet. She's good, isn't she?"

Props on the reporter, "You've been saying there will be an infrastructure bill for a long time. In fact, you were saying it before Scarlet's last birthday." Lmao.

Now he stands on a tractor somewhere and 20k dopes show up to have their faces eaten. I suspect his primary motivation to going to those games was publicity and being seen by people and showered with adulation.

I think if it wasn’t for the media constantly lying about him now, he would be really happy with the trade.

Was reading a story today how The NY Times is creating a news show for FX in part because Trump’s war on the press has created more recognizable reporters and are a part of the scripted show we are all living in.

Edit: as for no infrastructure bill it is the fault of obstructionist Democrats.

Eh, Jews generally support Israel as in its right to exist or something, but in rwnj stuff like moving the capital to Jerusalem 16% of American Jews support that, 36% of Americans in general support it, and 52% of Evangelicals support it. Jewish support for the Iran deal is 20 points higher than American support in general.

So if it were just Trump associating with Jews he'd be more interested in Palestinian rights than the average American, not less. It may well be that the group of Jews he knows who are rich and involved in real estate and casino scams are right wing, but that's not because they're Jews.

Medicare Part D (Bush II) likely saved just as many lives if not more.

Every president in the last 30 years have gotten involved in major armed conflicts. Obama in Syria and Libya. Clinton in Kosovo and Haiti.

Loooool obama in syria and libya totally on the same level as bush in iraq and afghanistan or johnson/nixon in vietnam, i mean yea basically the same thing yea?

So ZTE, second biggest phone maker in China and at times fourth best selling in the US has essentially ceased operating globally due to sanctions they received for previously selling to Iran and North Korea.
ZTE was being stupid. It's not even the only company accused of circumventing Iran sanctions. It's actually Chinese policy to invest in Iran (and they do it openly on a state level) so it actually would be more surprised if any of the major Chinese telecos aren't involved in circumventing sanctions.

What makes ZTE stand out is how stupid it has been about it. It was too stupid about getting plausible deniability while other companies got letters of opinion and legal shells to give themselves some cover.

PS: it's 100% every major Chinese telecom is stealing American tech and giving it to the Chinese government.

Tax cuts for the 1% meanwhile, let's cut CHIP. But they are mean to minorities so it's all good.

Johnson is Democrat.

Obama's "war funding" was actually higher than Bush's overall. Even post Iraq withdrawl and Afghanistan de-escalation, war funding (as defined by the Pentagon) was higher than During Bush's first term (when the wars were first launched.)

The biggest difference really is Obama threw drones instead of soldiers at the wars. That limited casualties and sent the message the US was no longer interested in nation building (some would call it occupation).

Uhhhhhh wow at this disingenuous bull****. Bush STARTED THE ****ING WARS but oh you say Obama's "war funding as defined by the Pentagon" was higher? Gotta go with rep here: **** you.

we spent more on the drone bombing under Obama then we did in the Iraq war with Bush?

https://www.timesofisrael.com/sirens...nter-shelters/

So Israel is claiming Iran launched 20 missiles at their military bases in Golan Heights.

It's definitely BS, and it was Syria that launched the missiles. That said, good chance they use this as a pretext to war with Iran.

Seems like all hell is about to break loose.
