I still don't understand how indirect firing can be prevented. Let's say Trump does the following:

1. Trump fires guy who recused himself.
2. Trump appoints new guy who won't recuse himself.
3. New guy shuts it down and/or fires of the career prosecutors that put up resistance.

Seems like it would be difficult to prevent.
