The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns. The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: No smocking guns.

I mean, if we're putting the PC talk aside, there's clearly something wrong with him beyond just having bad political views. Look at how he writes. So he's either a troll really committed to a bit or an unwell man having a bad episode.

Either way, people should probably not write **** like:

I didn’t think his posting is as bad as everyone made it out
!!!

Encouraging him is feeding something, either option bad.

I have a friend that brought this up last weekend. Basically, she thinks the military has already installed a de facto military coup to make sure Trump doesn't use nukes in an illegal manner.

Because let's face it. We all know the dude is dying to use them to show the rest of the world that #MAGA and USA#1.

Kendzior documented Trump's scary nuke rhetoric over the decades. The bit that sticks in my head is something like, 'why have them if you're not going to use them?'

If a guy like that can become POTUS, seriously what are the chances of civilization lasting, say, a couple more centuries? This on top of coal rolling the whole world. The danger may not be imminent, but we can't survive perpetually being on the precipice.

Trump and Putin being BFFs sucks, but imagine if they have a nasty breakup.

It is the most blatant anti-doctor “journalism” out there too. As biased and one-sided as anything I have ever read. I have seen stats that are so wrong that you can’t believe it actually made the press.

They did produce Jim Murray, Alan Malamud and TJ Simers though so I do give them partial credit.
Lol, try again:

The LA Times tracking poll was like the only poll (besides lolrasmussen) that consistently had Trump winning the popular vote by like 2-4 percent (PS he actually lost that vote, but that's besides the point).

mueller is so professional, in the alternate universe where i'm special counsel i would be giving press conferences on the steps of the courthouse every time i throw down an indictment or get a guilty plea. i'd make grand pronouncements like, "i have a message for all the CRIMINALS in the white house: resign now because i know what you've done, and i'm coming for you."

reporter: are you investigating the president?
me, special counsel: i won't comment on ongoing investigations but you should expect a big announcement about a member of the president's inner circle very soon.

Yea, like look at how quick Trump used the MOAB when he's approval ratings dipped below 40% or whatever the **** it was. He sees these things as toys and toys are meant to be played with.

Very low. That's why Obama wanted to drastically reduce nukes.

With current nuke technology and protocols, I would put the half-life of the current form of civilization at like 60 years. If something is not done, maybe 500 million people will die, maybe 2 billion, maybe only 20 million. It may not be the end of civilization (though it may be), but it will not be a good time.

Getting rid of Trump would be a good start.

You know I've been thinking about the comparisons between nation-states having nuclear weapons and a family having a gun in the house.

The family "feels" safer, with a gun in the house, even though literally the data states that you're more likely to use it to commit suicide or kill your own family member accidentally than use it on an intruder.

And the nation-state "feels" safer, with a stockpile of nuclear weapons, even though their very existence threatens our civilization, the human race, and all life on Earth.

But just like when you approach the family regarding the gun, you get the, that won't happen to my family. We're smart about it.

It's the same way approaching a nuclear power. That will never happen on our watch.

But you won't realize it until it's too late. The gun is already smoking. Or you can see the mushroom cloud.

thanks again for voting for the guy who doesn't know why we don't use nukes

I am fine with nuclear power. It's safer than the alternatives, does much less environmental damage, and current designs are pretty good (infinitely better than the bull**** design that melted down in Chernobyl--the nuclear equivalent of a piece of **** soviet car).

We have already had dangerously close calls and false alarms that have almost led to nuclear war. Add someone like Trump into the equation and it's a pretty unstable situation.

Nuclear war is a different thing than a nuclear reactor meltdown. Only the name is similar. Fukushima sucked, but it was not Nagasaki, and current nukes are must stronger and there are many, many more of them.

The argument that only pro trump people should be allowed to investigate trump is rather infuriating.
