The press should stop playing along, it legitimizes her gaslighting.

Unless the questions are along the lines of "how do you sleep at night" and "how do you lie so effortlessly," there is no point.

These dudes have been around for a few years now, actually. The modern marijuana smoker talks about this stuff like they are savoring a rare Bordeaux, it is absolutely appalling.

One of the few upsides of being an old fart is that I got most of my alcohol and drug abuse out of the way before they invented beer snobs and Aspergers potheads. The moral of the story, as always, is white guys ruin everything.

lol? just because you happily blazed whatever dirt weed you could get your hands on in your teenage/college years and got super stoned no matter how much mold or seeds it had in it doesn't mean that's a model for reasonable adults to follow.

your pearlclutching to your younger years is pretty funny and very MAGAish of you- sorry gramps but you should really get with the times, there's been so much cross breeding and strain development that now you can just pick and choose what kind of flavor and effect you want.

^not the best article, as it overstates the level of impairment that consumption causes in chronic users, and it ignores that there are other, cleaner/healthier ways to consume marijuana than simply smoking the flowers (i.e. extracts and edibles).

btw i'm sure you're just clowning around and dont really have glaucoma, but i'm just demonstrating that there are legitimate reasons to use it and to be selective about what types you're getting or growing.

The press has also intimated that my politics marches in lockstep with Steve Bannon's. I have great respect for Mr. Bannon, and from time to time I do discuss politics with him. However, I make my own decisions with respect to whom I support politically. Those decisions do not always align with Mr. Bannon's.
Without individuals thinking for themselves, society as a whole will struggle to distinguish the signal of truth from the correlated noise of conformity. I supported Milo Yiannopoulos in the hope and expectation that his expression of views contrary to the social mainstream and his spotlighting of the hypocrisy of those who would close down free speech in the name of political correctness would promote the type of open debate and freedom of thought that is being throttled on many American college campuses today. But in my opinion, actions of and statements by Mr. Yiannopoulos have caused pain and divisiveness undermining the open and productive discourse that I had hoped to facilitate. I was mistaken to have supported him, and for several weeks have been in the process of severing all ties with him

As you sardonically pointed out, this is the bootstrapz type argument. As I said: SURE. Defenders and proponents will find 1/100 coal miners who has the desire to sit and code all day and the natural abilities and talent to go from training program --> gainfully employed as a programmer. I am in absolute agreement it's possible. Some small percentage of people would pull it off.

For most, it's completely unrealistic and so it's a bad form of social welfare. I don't blame coal miners at all for realizing that and not bothering showing up for coding classes. It's a waste of most of their time and the safer gamble is to hope for the longshot coal rebound.

I agree if we redefine the terms from "programming" to "open ended technical sort of job" and "programming training" to "more open ended training on common business and software applications used by businesses" then we're going to move down the scale to something more useful for most people. BUT, then as I wrote and maintain as true: THOSE jobs aren't necessarily that safe or well-paying. It's not a *bad* option but they're no panacea either. Low to medium skill jobs in the tech and software industry (and they do exist) doing things like QA, processing, system admin, database admin, server admin, networks, etc. etc. are under a lot of pressure right now. It's very much a lateral, temporary move from a dying industry to an occupation that will be dying in 10 years. For some, maybe that's fine. Life is but a temporary condition after all. And maybe it's a good option for some people in some circumstance. But OTOH that's also not what the 1.6 million dollar "computer programming for coal miners" program is quite promising either.

I mean, this loltheory isn't worth the breath it takes to refute if a dumb ass coworker or your stupidest aunt tried to share it. Filthy, disingenuous intent aside, the quality of the content and delivery reminds me of watching an unprepared middle school classmate give a oral report on sharks by reading out of the encyclopedia.

Supposedly a lot of this is because he took a lot of heat at this hedge fund or whatever he does to make billions because of the bad press, so this is a throw something to the wolves to get the to back off type of thing. Selling it to his daughter is a big tell. She's basically been his right hand man the entire time so he's not really stepping away at all.

Funny anecdote... I went to school for journalism. One of my professors told a story of how he got fired from one of his jobs (he was fired a few times). There was a corruption scandal in the city he was working in, and the mayor kept side stepping questions about whether or not he did it. My professor, a reporter at the time, decided to try a different approach.

"Mr. Mayor, how'd you spend the money?"

Infuriating. If only more of us had voted 3rd party those Puerto Ricans might still be alive.

Sam "Jabba" Clovis - George Poopadopeadope's onetime WH supervisor, and a person of great interest in the Mueller investigation - withdraws himself from consideration as Ag Sec, saying that "The political climate inside Washington has made it impossible for me to receive balanced and fair consideration for this position" ROTFFL. http://www.cnn.com/2017/11/02/politi...ure/index.html

Robert Mercer - part owner of Cambridge Analytica (which is suspected of being a "Key Trump-Russia link"

announces that he is "relinquishing management responsibilities" of his multi-billion dollar Renaissance Hedge Fund, and that he is also selling his Breitbart shares to his daughter Rebeka (who is yet another Yuuuge Trump supporter/donor, and also very close to Steve "Bat****" Bannon. Mercer is also suspected of money laundering for Vladie Putin.

Who on Mueller's potential indictments list will be next to head for the hills? And who will be the first to leave us via an untimely death or suicide? Stay tuned.

Poll: Most say this is lowest point they can remember for US
A recent poll published by the American Psychological Association finds 59 percent of Americans surveyed think this is the lowest point in the nation's history that they can remember.

A slightly larger percentage, 63 percent, say they are stressed about the nation's future, according to the poll.

Nearly three-quarters of Democrats, 73 percent, say they are stressed about the future of the nation, compared to 56 percent of Republicans and 59 percent of independents.

I'd have thought Africa could make quite good use of solar power. What with it being Africa.
