I just got this from Lawrence. It's supposed to be the most comprehensive TrumpRussia compilation to date. Disclaimer: I didn't study it yet.

The only things I know about him is that he's Education Secretary Betsy DeVos's brother and he ran a meeting with Putin in December on the Seychelles Island to form a backchannel for Trump. I'm not familiar with the Blackwater story.

Remember that 2 days ago, I posted the story that Trump laundered $250 million in Jordan in 2012 and Putin oversaw it all. Trump publicly got $1 million himself, but all kinds of money was being moved around where he had access to much more. Nobody even saw the story and I didn't see it make CNN or MSNBC. There were stories I skipped posting because they weren't important at all compared to the KKK. Nobody else posted them either.

It's a pretty simple story. He's the founder. Blackwater gained notoriety for its employees being convicted of murdering 14 civilians in Iraq. They had a $250 million contract with the CIA, so who knows what they did, but I bet it rhymes with "torturing a lot of people". Somebody like who? I dunno. I think Trump was uniquely positioned to rise to the Presidency because of a number of factors that will be hard to duplicate. For one thing, he was already a known commodity. He was a "personality" dating back to the 80's I guess. The reality-TV stuff gave him more prominence. If Trump was "just a guy" when he announced his campaign, he gets not nearly the amount of media coverage and would face much more of an uphill struggle just to get the nomination.
