You can't really even blame China that much. If they take a harder stance against North Korea the regime could collapse, and millions of people could starve/ flee to their borders. If they do nothing, then crazy insane man gets nukes. If US tries military option than crazy insane man uses nukes and millions die. If US tries to negotiate or give crazy insane man what he wants then crazy insane man still gets nukes. There is like literally no answer to the problem.

Admittedly, it does sound sort of like Comet Pizza conspiritarding, but there's credible evidence from several outlets that the Russian gov't really does pay people to troll online forums. 2p2 is one of the larger forums, so it's not too crazy to think that some of them make their way here.

idk if you were here during the Ukraine crisis, but there were a few posters who were just super sketchy. Brand new posters make a beeline to politics to post in broken English about how Russian was defending itself against Ukrainian terrorists.

Grassely and his ilk are trying to make it look like Fusion GPS was playing both sides by tying the Russian lawyer to Fusion GPS. The theory has a lot of moving parts and is very complicated and that is likely by design. I think what they are trying to do is draw some kind of lose connection to the democrats with the Russian lawyer via fusion GPS and then try to discredit any investigation into Trump saying that Hillary and the DNC are behind the whole thing.

It wont work because Fusion GPS was originally hired by Republican never Trumpers and the whole thing is just to ****ing confusing.

On side we have this crazy theory that no can even articulate. On the other side you have
Trump + Manafort + Flynn + no one can remember ever having a conversation with anyone that can speak Russian. Plus 10 dozen other incriminating pieces of evidence. If this whole thing gets left up to the voters in 2018 my money is the dems win the house by a landslide, especially if Trump manages to get rid of Mueller. The story is not going way and campaign season for the midterms is just around the corner.
