Things move fast, hard to keep up with everything even with this thread. Before the election and even the inauguration I would have thought all the "I'm moving if Trump wins" stuff was a bit hysterical. Now I'm thinking that anyone who wants to live in a free society with clean air and water where science is taught in schools and respected should absolutely be making plans to get out. The only questions left are 1) is Canada far enough or do I need to go full Australia/NZ (have some friends out there) and 2) am I waiting too long to put my house in the market?

Mars isn't far enough but taking steps so you can bolt quickly if needed is a good thing. House depends on locale obviously.

Benghazi was a story because it was complete lack failure by the State Department, not to mention the weak cover up attempt.

What that article doesn't mention is that Anwar al-Walaki was a U.S. citizen and his 16 year old son, who was also a U.S. citizen, was killed too. It created quite a bit controversy but was the right call.

"fake tears" is such a paranoid thing to think about real people. like they couldn't possibly have an emotion about what trump is up to, so they have to lie to you using the art of acting, to try to change your political stance. just another lie you can easily dismiss
