Let me clue you in: NO ONE cares about the veterans. Anytime they are brought up it's to deflect away from something else.

It truly is amazing. I don't get it at all.

Ugh. How the **** could they not even get a successful John Kerry campaign. Dude has a silver star and Purple Heart and other metals(I think). The ad runs against ****ing Trump are insanely easy.

Needed to vent after spending another day in a blue state with strong enclaves of Trumpers where I live.

He's super pro war/military; why wouldn't they all snap support him?

Republicans successfully bashed the hell out of Kerry for his service.

Awful lot of holidays for people we don't care about.

America celebrates them with retail sales and a day off of work for people who never served.

this is a little on the nose for a letter dated july 2016:
Furthermore, if Ms. Veselnitskaya was lobbying as a representative of HRAGIF, the organisation is in breach of its LDA filing for:

b.The lobbying was not in accordance with its stated objective of “Foreign Adoption Issues.”

Can you just imagine the right wing idiotosphere if Hillary Clinton let Chelsea sit in for her at the G-20?

I'd agree with them. Ivanka shouldn't even be in the damn white house much less the princess of america. Shame they're only right when it suits them.

You can say this about the right wing idiotsphere if Hillary did about anything Trump's done so far though.

Add Grassley to the Mueller list. He knows too much to be sabotaging his own committee.

While we're at it, let's hope Mueller is eyeballing McConnell's bull**** threats LAST YEAR to keep Obama as silent as possible on the Russia attack.

And now we have Trump on the world stage not only deflecting blame, but deflecting it to the scapegoats set up a long time ago. All they were doing was their proper jobs!

There is some really damning **** going on. Even Jr has been caught in the web. This is so huge and so widespread. WTF?

Replace Kerry with a bazillion other names. The minority of our country is blaming the majority for all the things they are the ones guilty of doing. What a ****ing shame if the truth doesn't win here.

i'm sure it was very innocent. this woman who is known to be lobbying for shady putin stuff under the guise of providing information(?) to people in private regarding russian adoption programs. don jr maintains this line as of yesterday, even though:
Donald Trump Jr. had denied participating in any campaign-related meetings with Russian nationals when he was interviewed by The Times in March. “Did I meet with people that were Russian? I’m sure, I’m sure I did,” he said. “But none that were set up. None that I can think of at the moment. And certainly none that I was representing the campaign in any way, shape or form.”

Asked at that time whether he had ever discussed government policies related to Russia, the younger Mr. Trump replied, “A hundred percent no.”
yeah bring the campaign manager AND trump's #2 man jared to this innocent informational meeting about adoption programs. don jr said he didn't even know who it was or what it was about besides adoption why bring those 2 at such a hectic time in the campaign. you'd think if it really was innocent don jr would take the meeting himself and relay the pretty simple "american sanctions are hurting orphans" message.

I will say this until I'm blue in the face...

Each day that passes without stopping Trump decreases the chances of meaningful elections.

On top of that, cyber experts are saying we have little time left to act before it's game, set, match for voting => democracy => America.

So before people get complacent thinking we have until 2018 elections to fix this, WE DON'T. We're probably talking MONTHS.

Last thought: Almost everybody has this wrong, regardless of political party. Healthcare is NOT the biggest, most pressing issue. It is the distraction!

Trump's lawyer's spokesperson issued a statement VERY quickly after this story broke. They know how vulnerable this makes them. For further confirmation of this fact, wait until you hear the explanation!

https://twitter.com/HallieJackson/st...41105128706048

"Democrats tricked the Trump team into colluding with Russia."

Yep, that's ****ing right! Most ridiculous excuse from this disinformation campaign so far, which is really hard to do. And they issue this statement AFTER they admitted to setting up the meeting.

EDIT: Is this a trap for MSM? The tweeter is an MSNBC reporter, but it isn't a good idea for them to run a story on this Spox statement as opposed to ignoring it. I hope they don't chew on the bait.

I agree Healthcare is a distraction. Improving the lives of Americans and world beyond is what we need to be focused on and what the President has begun to work on.

What America needs is more politicians and more media that are out there pulling for a better America like the rest of us are. All the wasted effort here and elsewhere done in the hopes of gaining political power or higher ratings is disappointing and counterproductive for America.

In (mild) defense of the US media, it's not uncommon for people that are directly in the middle of a **** storm to lack the perspective to deal with it. Australian news agencies have the benefit of being able to sit back and soak it all in, examine the situation in context, and be thoughtful about it. The US media has to whipsaw back and forth between hot button issues of the day, including fending off direct attacks from the White House. For a common day to day analogy, it's sort of like when you're swamped at work and constantly putting out little fires, you can't work at improving anything significant.
