yeah for sure, you would have to pass through the southern or western burbs to get to my place near the airport.

With plenty of room to spread out and relax, Andre could now travel in a semblance of comfort, which allowed him to do some serious boozing. During trips Andre consumed beer at the incredible rate of a case every ninety minutes, with bottles of vodka or top-rate French wine thrown in for variety.

Had a friend that lived in that general area. If I go up to Atlanta and have any time, I'll give you a holler.

The 3 of us need to get to together for some shooting and drinking. Filmed for posterity of course.

Neb, what happened to that prop bet we had where we ended up going to go through like $500 worth of ammo for a case of beer?

It had something to do with the reliability of your 1911 iirc

Sounds good to me. When I drink, shooting stuff always seems like a good idea.

I'm not betting on my marksmanship, though. It's only ok.

Cool.

I still hate you for finding Back Woods Brew before I did. It makes me feel like a n00b
JSYK, I'm drinking Crown Royal tonight just to spite you.

I'm checking out the views on the drunk thread. There's less than 60 posts, and like 3000 views. What do lurkers do when they see this thread? Of all the threads on the internet, how can you not stop in and say "hi!" in this one?

Mind blowing.

Ok, so it's boring here. I'm going to BBV4L.

****.

Ok, here goes.

Six dollars, six beers, 16 ounces, 6% ABV.

Oh ****. My journey into the abyss was a massive success. Dr. Spaceman has a thread over there, and I brought back an artifact.

Ok, I'm going back.

Me too. Probably something I did. ****ing youtube embeds.
01-07-2012 , 01:14 AM
In fact, I'm almost positive it's something I did. It's almost hilarious how bad I am at embedding youtube videos. I can redirect this whole goddamned twoplustwo website to youtube BY ACCIDENT.

If that isn't the height of ineptitude, I don't know what is.

It's either you or me. I'll send RR a pm if wookie doesn't get on soon

An excellent opening sentence for The Great American Novel.

It's DEFINITELY you. It's either you doing it directly, or you requesting ME to do it, knowing how bad I am at technical stuff.

I forgive you.

BTW, I like how you PM mods by just making a post in the drunk thread.

It's like, "Well, there's 3 mods here, but only one of them is really active, and he doesn't really check PM's, but I KNOW he checks the drunk thread nightly."

****ing brilliant.

Was Brokeback Mountain the last great American novel?

When I bought beer this evening in a different liquor store, found a hand-written sign in the bourbon section saying that because of shipping delays, they were out of stock for BT until an expected shipment in late January. So I'll get to try it at some point down the road. Not my usual pop shop (there are two within walking distance but this one's a couple miles from home), haven't been there in a couple of years. Since last time I was there, they have vastly increased their selection of craft beers. Had a few dozen before. Now well over a hundred craft beer choices. My liver says hi.

Nope. In a reasonably decent south Mpls neighbohood. And in addition to those two, there's a third a bit further away but not by much and a small brewery that serves free beer four days a week. Urban living ftw.
