Tonight's plan is to stay home, nice and safe, reflecting on that nutso night exactly 20 years ago (12/31/1989 through 1/1/1990) when the combination of alcohol and a quarter inch of ice covering everything did not yield salutary results.

Nice relaxing evening. Have one table of low stakes PLO open (curse you PLO) and some tunes on while the wife scrapbooks. Thankfully, the in-laws got me a nice big bottle of Maker's Mark for Christmas so we'll be getting our drink on in an hour or so.
