Edit: This is just % of male and female times reported percent. As has been pointed out it isn't this accurate.

How much money would a clinton victory cost you adanthar?
01-08-2008 , 09:28 PM
Doesn't make much sense reporting 4 significant figures on those percentages, given that the poll didn't report any decimal places. Clinton may be closer to Obama than that.

Why am I picturing the vote counting rooms looking something like old Bugs Bunny cartoons:

1 for Hillary, 1 for Obama
2 for Hillary, and 1, 2 for Obama
3 for Hillary, and 1, 2, 3, for Obama

About 3K, but RP's gonna come in well under 13% so the worst I can do on the elections is break even.

All of the counties I've seen reporting so far are more moderate counties.

I think Obama still wins fairly big.

OH HEI GUIES THEY SHOWED PAUL ON A PIE CHART ABOUT INDEPENDENT VOTERS, STFU!

How does she have twice as many delegates? She lost in Iowa to Obama and that's been teh only contest?

What am I missing?
The Dems have "Superdelegates" who are basically senior party members that are appointed by some process rather than voted in. My best guess is, that these Superdelegates are not specifically tied to any candidate, but if they come out and support a candidate, CNN will will include that delegate in their totals.

Also, there's some internet rumbling that younger voters will showed up later in the day. I buy none of this. I think Obama wins but it's probably within 3 percentage points.

Correct, CNN says "These delegate counts represent CNN's most recent total for each candidate and break down pledged delegates and superdelegates, according to CNN’s most recent survey of superdelegates."

The lead is holding steady at 1,800 votes at the moment. I'm not caring about %'s because that's misleading this early.

Is there a place that shows which counties have returned and which hasn't?

I'm guessing the larger more urban and more heavy vote districts favor Obama (more young folk) and that the sticks contains all the senile people who vote Clinton.

CNN shows a 2,600 votes lead for Clinton now, surprising.

According to wiki NH has only a 1.29% black population (2005). Good state for WASPs like HC.

Couldn't you have said the exact same thing about Iowa?
01-08-2008 , 09:52 PM
Lead upto 3600 votes.

This would be catastrophic for Obama if he doesn't win imo.

Nope almost double that at 2.5% .
01-08-2008 , 09:54 PM
Looks bad for Obama indeed, would've never expected that.
01-08-2008 , 09:55 PM
I am going on a hunger strike until Obama is on top (for the next 20 minutes or so)
01-08-2008 , 09:55 PM
Obama down 3.4k now.
01-08-2008 , 09:56 PM
Looks like NH voters bowed to a pissed-off Bill Clinton's demands.
01-08-2008 , 09:57 PM
23.25% precincts reporting.

Clinton 39.94%
Obama 34.01%

26.24% reporting

Clinton 39.58%
Obama 34.51%
01-08-2008 , 09:58 PM
Seriously, pretty ridiculous if Clinton wins:

Baffling imo. I still think there's an Obama bounce coming in the actual results.
01-08-2008 , 09:58 PM
Wow, 4.7k now. The gap keeps widening.
01-08-2008 , 09:58 PM
only 39-36 HC now!!!!!! the worm is turning!!!!!!!
