I think it doesn't take much more than literacy and a pulse to see this for what it is. Mad about the cops' license to kill? Voila, here are some gendarmes. Dovetails perfectly with the DHS position that 'protest is just low-level terrorism.'

NYC is in a lot of unique situations wrt to policing and public safety concerns imo.

Which is exactly why we should have a couple of platoons of combat engineers drawing beads on anybody who dares challenge the legitimacy of the NYPD's impunity, amirite?

Update: NYPD commissioner Bill Bratton now 'urging legislators to have resisting arrest raised from a misdemeanor to a felony.'

I don't know who the NYC 2+2ers are, but you would probably be doing your city a service by getting ahold of your city councilmen to have this brownshirt impeached.
