Gun control and Responsible Gun Owners (TM) have some common ground here but you'll never get it if you demand equal time. Reckless endangerment, reckless homicide etc are more appropriate and would encourage responsibility.

EDIT: Without using a slippery slope argument please. That argument is 100% bull**** and I think we all know it. There are plenty of gun haters who would happily take all of your guns, but I'm pretty sure the federal courts+the constitution will stop that from happening for the forseeable future.
They can't make any such coherent argument. Their only response when it comes to this will be that licensing and tracking is the 1st step in a process that will result in the black helicopters showing up to take all their precious size enhancers.

By who? Name someone "in power" or who have the ability to actually change laws that want the removal of "all guns" from people? Im not talking about the "lols" in this thread. Even the far left, those who are atleast taken seriously, don't demand the removal of all guns.

Senators serving for over two decades aren't taken seriously? She's certainly a person in power who wants to take all guns. They do exist. Most just aren't as forward as this old bat.

Senators can be elected and re-elected and still not be well-rounded on all issues. She clearly doesn't even have a 30,000 ft understanding on the subject of guns and when she makes those statements, it is announced as such.

If in say 50 years the country decided that was best to remove and ask for the return of all guns, than we prolly screwed up so many other things that it wouldn't of mattered at that point anyways. We are no were near that stage just yet because Diane Feinstein said so.

Dude the freaking president endorsed a hand gun ban as a state senator candidate. And a ****ing senator counts. Nice no true scotsman game though.

We've gone from a group to no true person in power to no senator without power and soon to be no true president. This is fun.

Lol and there it is. Confronted with this forum in response to no one wants to take your guns, back into no politician. Confronted with a long time US senator, back into no politician taken seriously. Confronted with the president, back into no person can be taken seriously.

Just slightly less awful than how much her views are grossly magnified to scare single-issue gun voters and push gun sales. An entire slippery-slope fallacy that even a little reform or further regulation will lead to GUNS BANNED is propagated virtually by her words alone.

Edit: Bloomberg too, forgot about that schmuck.

Is there anyway to confront a person or group of people while brandishing arms and not be intimidating? What is the point of this? Is it bullying? Is it good public relations?

On Saturday, nearly 40 armed men, women, and children waited outside a Dallas, Texas area restaurant to protest a membership meeting for the state chapter of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, a gun safety advocacy group formed in the aftermath of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.

According to a spokeswoman for Moms Demand Action (MDA), the moms were inside the Blue Mesa Grill when members of Open Carry Texas (OCT) — an open carry advocacy group — “pull[ed] up in the parking lot and start[ed] getting guns out of their trunks.” The group then waited in the parking lot for the four MDA members to come out. The spokeswoman said that the restaurant manager did not want to call 911, for fear of “inciting a riot” and waited for the gun advocates to leave. The group moved to a nearby Hooters after approximately two hours.

And apparently a photo of the group from a side angle is dishonest:

Good to know if I want to get away with terrorising people in America with armed military style weaponry all I need to do is carry the correct flag and smile.
