Not because those principles are secretly lies or whatever, but instead because those principles aren't really principles. Talking about the evils of premarital sex and Sandra Fluke being the downfall of American society isn't a coherent theory anyone holds, because there are plenty of Young Republicans who are going straight from church tomorrow to a frat BBQ where they're going to try to get laid. It's just some **** you say to let everyone else know what team you're on.

It's all just signaling. The Duggars are Good People with Good Values who Raised Their Kids Right, and that cannot change just because of things they "actually" "do".
Ah, got it. I basically agree with that.

She is clearly one of a huge percent of rape victims not believed by and thanks to people like you. Anyone aware of the details knows this.

Its really disgusting you have taken up attacking rape victims as your personal cause.

Oh bull**** phill. Literally no group that has looked into the case has found her credible because the evidence available doesn't match her account. putting her lying ass on a pedestal hurts rape victims credibility far more than anything I do.

Watching a family go through a major crisis seems like it would be horrible exploitative tv. Some of these girls would be dealing with sexual assault, and I think even bad guys deserve some privacy.

Reverse Robin Hoods up in there

Holy ****.

I mean, holy ****.

The state doesn't allow direct depost; have some asinine ATM daily limit/fee circle jerk that reads like a parody of a bad law written jointly by special interests and massive racist bigots; .40 cents per transaction after the first TWO transactions when using the EBT card (ofc only at approved vendors who also accept EBT); etc, etc.

Wow. I mean just wow.

Oh, and it's easier to purchase and concealed carry a gun than it is to get a license to drive

Not in Missouri and the thought that you think it should be is, to be generous, odd.

You think it should be easier to get a ccw than get a drivers license?

I think he was referring specifically to Kansas though.
05-24-2015 , 01:29 PM
Totally aside from pro or anti gun, driving is a lot harder than shooting.

which do you think is higher? motor vehicle deaths per licensed driver or homicdes committed per ccw permit holder?

Your reasoning skills could use some honing

I'm pretty sure almost every state it's easier to get a ccw currently.

I think they should be somewhat similar as far as the testing required (paper and practical like driving test/shooting test).

As for your question PVN I'm not sure how to answer. The way it's set up I'd say it's obvious that road deaths are way higher. But not every road death is a licensed driver and certainly not every gun homicide is committed by a ccw holder but most are legal guns AFAIK.
05-24-2015 , 02:25 PM
What's the point of the comparison? In some ways the two things are similar, in some ways they are different. It's lame to simply compare the difficulty to get a license and once you start the argument from there, everything that follows will probably be lame.

Low Key's fault.

Lol pvn didn't setup the argument this way, low key did.
05-24-2015 , 02:40 PM
Okay? He asked me the question so I was responding to him.
05-24-2015 , 02:42 PM
And you clearly weren't following the conversation you were supposedly a part of
05-24-2015 , 02:44 PM
lol whatever you say. Thanks for swinging by with nothing to add.

It wasn't an argument, it was a throwaway joke that people latched onto because the LC is for sirius biz
05-24-2015 , 02:55 PM
Next time pvn asks me a question when I chime in on a thread I'll be sure to tell him to ask the OP, or whoever brought up the subject, so we can avoid this.

ikes manages to provide astoundingly little content even relative to the context of the low content thread, how shocking
