Anyone to ask about working as a lobbyist? What does a typical workday look like? Sounds pretty sweet to me, good pay and fine dining with your clients...

lol. your day is spent trying to figure out how to talk to important people in the member's office, who do their best to avoid you at all costs. You call 4-5 times a day, leave voice mails. Email. Stop by unannounced, hang around trying to catch the LA or LD running out to a meeting.



*okay, there may be some other stuff - but thats what I see the lobbyists do all day.

But then eventually you get experienced enough to get a job in Government Affairs at a major corporation, which if you choose right will be a sweet gig in which your actual job performance will be nearly impossible to measure.
