I remember reading about this here (that govnerments have killed more of their own citizens in the 20th century than all of the wars combined) and am looking for links that show/talk about the specifics. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

The more neutral, or credible the source, the better. Also any links that go into details both with numbers killed in wars and numbers of people killed by their own governments.

Thanks. Also and disucssion on the topic is very welcome. I found this statistic very surprising when I first heard it and would welcome more info.

This sounds like the most distorted and dishonest statistic in history, but I sure would be interested to see it.

anyone else think AIDS was created for population control ? This world has far to many people and it can't handle this many people IMO. In the next 25 yrs AIDS deaths will probably sore to over a billion to make 1.5 billion.

There is a documented case of someone dying from HIV-AIDs in the 1950s. We had barely discovered DNA by then. Do you really think someone was able to engineer HIV back then? Oh wait, the government must have planted that sample, right?
