Firstly, WTF is up with those sunglasses?
Secondly, I think that video predates you LirvA. Or at least it's coming close. Old girl got a wheel gun.

Here you'll note the modern style of sunglasses and firearms:

09-23-2012 , 12:34 AM
why do you make children cry DBJ?
09-23-2012 , 12:35 AM
I wasn't an early 40's ginger broad in 1982 LirvA.
09-23-2012 , 12:36 AM
Clearly the two I posted look like they're fist bumping the youngsters and chillin on the corner.

Why do you hate the middle aged, red heads, and women DBJ?

Cop randomly sucker punches a woman in the face for no reason!

Apparently someone from much further back threw some water towards the group of cops and when Mr. Tough Guy turns around he sees her standing there with a bottle of water so he decides slugging her in the face is the best course of action.

My question is, why aren't stories like this even national news? Not only are they not huge stories, they are NO stories, like the mainstream national media doesn't even report them. Nothing to exploit I guess?

Clearly a punch-in-the-face crime.

I almost think it would be newsworthy if a cop doesn't punch someone after getting sprayed with a little water.

So she assaulted this man by exposing him to a substance he could not identify and he used force to restrain her?

is this an accurate assessment of what happened?

do you think his response was appropriate?

If nothing else, your job has certainly made you someone that can put words to the page that are at the same time entirely one hundred percent true and a complete and utter distortion of reality.

I'm uncertain if Dbl is using the question mark to emphasize that his view should be obvious or to make his statement sarcastic.
10-01-2012 , 07:11 PM
I love how none of us can be quite sure if that was sarcasm or not. wp, DB.

To provide a serious response, my initial reaction was noticing the white shirt and assuming he was a high ranking official.

After a second viewing I noticed the riding boots, which means he's a motor unit.

In any event of course this isn't appropriate. I'd actually go against the grain and argue in favor of arrest here, because hey tossing water on unwilling people on the street is a dick move, but no I have a supreme level of confidence that wasn't necessary to accomplish arrest.

Agreed. My earlier statement wasn't meant as a dig. Honestly, your level of bull****ting is deeply impressive.

Thanks.

For sure. On one hand, I think that more cops need to be like DBJ here. He has a brain in his head and is worried about law enforcement overstepping their bounds.

Then sometimes, he says stuff like the above and I can see him in front of a bank of cameras explaining why his deputy murdered a homeless man.

Edit: Kudos if you were trolling.

Something about that picture tells me he's not an "unwilling person" to be tossing water on in the street.

Maybe that's the problem.

Well try it from a different perspective then.

If I'm just randomly running the streets, just hitting people with water, and you were one of those people, should something be done about me IYO?

I mean as responsible adults we have to understand there are times to play and times to behave professionally. Perhaps I'm reading you wrong, but if you're asking every cop to just be cool with people hitting them with water on every traffic stop, I think you're being a bit unreasonable.

I'm sure you'd find that rather annoying if I just decided to follow you around and soak your clothes at random intervals too.
