It's certainly possible he was just screwing around and all his posts were sarcastic. It would make a lot of sense if all his posts were really just jokes.

However, he is constantly whining and crying for one thing or another. I don't know if he's serious or not, if he was just joking, he should concede.

Well my friends and fellow justices, a late hour is upon us, and being the elder statesmen and noted legal authority that I am, I must retire to my quarters, whereupon I will change into a different shirt before heading to the local bar to catch 50 cent drinks with several notable acquaintances. We shall ponder this matter upon our rising in the morning.

First of all, let's just be honest and admit that Nielsio is as ******ed as Sunday School. He wasn't banned for being awesome. Also, I used exactly zero gimmick accounts in our trouncing, something a mod can verify. Finally, changing the rules after adhering to them for all previous rounds and worse yet deferring to a panel which may have an inherent bias to determine them is ridiculous. I can't decide if this means you suck at politics or love playing them.

TomCollins makes the final round, period. Anything else is a travesty of justice - something I thought you people around here hated.

Campaigning outside the forum is illegal, but just manufacturing accounts to vote is somehow ALLOWED? Come on. Real people, excluded; fictitious people, allowed? I mean, the stakes are pretty low here but let's think about this.

BTW, I just want to point out that Mike Haven voted my ticket. That basically trumps 100 gimmick accounts imo.

I don't think he's joking (I meant that he went back to joke posting after he said his bit, and didn't seem as concerned as you're making it out to be). I don't really understand why everyone is jumping down his throat about crying etc. for what to me seemed like a reasonable post (that this sort of kills the spirit of the game.. ldo, it does, doesn't it?).

IIRC, someone brought up the gimmick possibility early on, and 4postle said he doubted anyone would actually do that. Technically I guess there's no reason you shouldn't win since 4postle wasn't anal enough to make a rule, but it seems kind of silly and sort of zaps the zing out of even bothering with this, don't you think?

Also, would the crowd kindly note that I was listed first in the list of invited barristers, making me the Chief Justice. This means I get first choice of the wigs.

I had no gimmicks vote in this round. My one gimmick account did vote in previous rounds.

Next year, you should def ban gimmick accounts and use pvn's idea of making voters have at least one serious post in the politcs forum.

I find it ironic and humorous that a rule that was invented with the sole purpose of keeping me and burlap from winning ended up hurting borodog and pvn more than it hurt me
