new tv, speakers, blu-ray player with netflix (so i don't have to unhook my xbox and move it around) all coming in next week.

so i'm going to move the tv in the living room to my bedroom and the tube tv in the bedroom to the computer/guest bedroom. i have directv and i've been looking online/at costco for a new hd receiver. zomg, it costs like $200 + $5+/mo (haven't called them, but online it says i need hd + dvr service, which i already have in the living room.. not sure if it's per receiver)

meanwhile, paying $200 or w/e at costco for the receiver, i still have to return it to directv if i cancel/don't renew. wtfffff

anyone have experience with getting it for cheaper or anything? i already got nhl center ice for free... should i just call and threaten to switch? paying $200 + $5/mo + possibly extending contract seems ridiculous.

I think with cable vision/comcast it's just $5/month.
