Man, SAT questions have gotten dark.

What's so bad about mans laughter? Sounds like every other type to me.
09-22-2016 , 06:27 PM
Well if she was laughing about what happened that's pretty bad.

Manslaughter 1 carries 4 to life.. Let's this thing trickle through the justice system for about 8months to a year then she pleas to manslaughter 2 and takes four years probation..

Sorry, regret agitating earlier. Certainly have my anger issues. The protesters are entitled to their anger, however misdirected it may be.

No politifact on this?

If that were true that the cause is jealousy, shouldn't they riot when white billionaires show their yearly income, and not coincidently riot when a black person is shot?

The NCGOP are the ones actively chasing money out of their state because of a totally imagined fear of dudes in women's dressing rooms. Pretty par for the course.

I would love to see someone study the relationship between the bat**** craziness of Congresspersons and the number of vertices in their Congressional districts.

Feel free to come up with a methodology for "bat**** craziness" and I'll try to work it into the final results. I'm thinking some sort of metric like (vertices / area) might prove to be more accurate, but I'm too lazy to map it now.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...WcbH63mUXspiM/

Map and legend doesn't include Alaska because it's a significant outlier with regard to number of vertices.

09-22-2016 , 09:32 PM
More or less just the first search result, here, but you can do a lot better than "number of vertices" (as is evident by looking at the top-scorers by that metric in your map).

The prosecutors investigator said she became emotionally involved in the situation and escalated the situation because of that. So, yeah, basically.

Here's how it is:
-the police shot Keith Scott because he was black
-the policeman who shot him was white, not black
-Scott was carrying a book, not a gun
-Scott was completely compliant
-the police shot Scott because they're scared of black men
-the man who was shot in the riot and later died was shot by a white policeman
-Scott didn't even own a gun
Part of this summary is true, maybe all.

Oh man, Chiefsplanet has an amazing thread about the guy who's really behind the riots.

Spoiler:
(((Soros!)))

The wife of Keith Scott filmed her husband getting shot. The video is from far away so nothing much can be discerned by it.

On MSNBC they were putting red circles on the ground and comparing stills to pictures released earlier. Objects that were there, aren't there. Objects are being dropped by police. Where said objects are possible guns. It's confusing and isn't going to help the situation on the streets. Police are still refusing to release their video, but the pressure will be way more intense now.

at 02:01 of the NYT footage an object which could well be a weapon (it's horribly blurry) appears just above the red officer's shadow. Unfortunately the wife's phone jerks to the left just before it appears, so you can't really see how it got there. It certainly wasn't there at the beginning though.

Heard on NPR this morning that a law is about to go into effect on Oct 1 which will exempt police dashcam and bodycam recordings from public records and makes it so that they cannot be released without a court order, because transparency. Also suggested that the cops are trying to run out the clock by not releasing their video before the new law kicks in.
