I dunno...

I suspect many of these people would prefer more white people getting shot as long as they were "the bad ones". And if they weren't, the people would justify it with the same he's-no-angeling only replacing selling crack with basement meth lab.

Like, the Bundy standoff type of situation makes their penises move, but the average po' white cracker? Nah, no love.

Stephen Avery got he's-no-angeled like a motherbitch.

Which would be a pretty good point except for, you know, all the white people being shot all the time....

He had a BB gun by all accounts. Not being a gun expert I have no idea how realistic they may look and how brave these cops may have been.

Per press account replica handgun with a laser sight. Didn't show a picture though.

Sad.

According to CNN...

Quote:
The Columbus, Ohio, police's fatal shooting of a 13-year-old black robbery suspect who allegedly had a BB gun will be investigated thoroughly...

[Caption:] Columbus police Chief Kim Jacobs holds up a picture of what she says is a BB gun like Tyree King's...

without camera footage we really can't trust the police.

Cops get called to armed robbery, chase suspect, suspect pulls a gun. What are they supposed to do? Let him shoot to find out what kind of gun it is? Robbing people with any kind of gun is a high risk endeavor. Pointing a gun at the police (or anyone) is the same.

All cops should have bodycams so that objective evidence can be presented.

I really can't believe the police here. Young teens aren't going to pull a weapon on police unless they are suicidal, deranged, or hopelessly desperate. This kid was involved in multiple sports and apparently just a normal 13 yo.

Not sure if you are trolling but yeah teens can kill adults and other teens and cops too...

just saying, there are a bunch of these "they pointed the gun at me" stories who is going to point a gun without shooting it which seems to happen quite often in these stories.

This Tulsa shooting is really bad. Guy has his hands straight up in the air. Female cop keeps saying he won't show her his hands, meanwhile crew in helicopter is like wtf he's got his hands in the air. Seems like the lady cop was scared witless.
09-20-2016 , 09:03 AM
Am I seeing it correctly? Dude has his hands in the air, goes against the car to submit. 4 cops surround him, then they taze him for no apparent reason and he falls to the ground. Then while he's on the ground, that's when they shoot him with live ammo!

Straight-up murder.

I mean WTF? Like, how is this justified? She's on paid admin too. For what? She should have been fired and arrested on the spot. The helicopter footage is even worse.

But hey, how dare Colin Kaepernick disrespect the flag by kneeling?

Edit: Came across this while looking up stuff about Tulsa. Race riot about 100 years ago.

That Tulsa thing is ****ed up. How many cops are required to not kill an unarmed man, no matter what he's doing?

and wow re: that Tulsa race riot link. Crazy that something like that is probably not known to anyone or mentioned in history classes. Sounds like a nightmare

Time to get involved. I just signed up to participate with my local #BlackLivesMatter chapter. I cannot remain silent any longer. Ask yourself if you can or if it's time to get active as well.

This idea of doing things "immediately" will cause problems. If you don't get you i's crossed and your t's dotted, the defendant will benefit due to the protections of our legal system.

The job is to get justice done correctly. Keep the eyes on the ball: doing it right.

The justice system works when you let it work, this thread is full of good examples of that.

Is shooting that man in cold blood " justice done correctly?" Which capital crime die he committ?
