Yeah, but the afterparty with FUFRANK! is obviously meant to seriously marginalize RP.

I mean, really, what else does the establishment have?

lollllllllllll hannity
05-05-2011 , 10:38 PM
Hannity is about to have a heart attack. He can't believe South Carolina republicans liked HC
05-05-2011 , 10:39 PM
First to drop out of the race G Johnson or Pawlenty.
05-05-2011 , 10:40 PM
hannity said the other candidates have legitimate reasons for not showing up... donald trump needs to "finish celebrity apprentice." the group of republican voters collectively about punched him through the tv. rightfully so. yeah sean, celebrity apprentice is more important than president of the usa.

Herman Cain is all of the sudden a serious candidate and all he did was spit out platitudes and say there have to be clear/real plans.

Pretty much a waste of resources and air time for this crew. Nothing of new substance was on that stage. HC is just a soundbite spouter. RP was RP again, makes sense to leave and attend the TP after party. Tpaw should have just ran his Bruckheimer films, Santorum is Romney lite, and GJ is a mountain man reality wanna be

But Hannity is always good for a chuckle.
05-05-2011 , 10:53 PM
Is the FNC crew trying to tell people that Pawlenty won the debate?

He probably did the worst tbh.

why does there exist a media narrative that tim pawlenty is a serious contender? it's been around for a while, except it is completely manufactured and has no basis in reality. nobody knows who he is. he has no charisma. the difference between him and an educated face in the republican crowd is... there is none. he's a complete nobody.

The chance that the after party is "Tea Party" and not "Ron Paul" is approaching 0.

He is generic GOP shill.

GJ seems far too soft-spoken to be a serious contender.

Even if his positions were agreeable to GOP voters

i know! why does the media keep insisting there is some quality about him? are they just out of touch with reality? but why him? it makes zero sense to me.

He looks presidential.

Because they need to pretend being the generic GOP shill is valid? That way they can slurp all over Romney?

Every other candidate is terrible in some way: Gingrich likes to bang brawds and is seen as a cretinous old dude, Romney tried to help sick people, Huckabee is a bumpkin, Trump is a reality TV star, lolPalin, etc. etc., so the media is focused on some clown whose liabilities are the least obvious as probable-winner-by-default.

I've said my piece on Pawlenty in other threads -- he's not much of a horse, but some media people seem to think being boring is a feature, not a bug. IMO, it's pretty crippling to be that unremarkable, as you've noticed.

Maybe in an issues based election the man could rise. But since the days of Reagan (which is mecca for the GOP) charisma is what wins elections. They know it too, W had it.

Now according to Luntz I guess they want to be the issues party. And Luntz packed his room with those that see Obama as a socialist, almost all the hands went up.

lol "he's my #1"

irrelevant.

as soon as Romney shows up and healthcare is brought up, Romney gets RPWND.
