So guns are the reason our homicide rate is 2-3x more? I wonder how many people accidently stab themselves to death, anyone got data on that?

NO .. there are many reasons for murder rate, and gun ownership is probably about number 457 or so down the list.

Homicide rates are much lower in areas with less gun control in America. It's almost like there are other factors involved....

FWIW. England & Wales combined. 2007/08. 270 Homicides involving a sharp instrument (knives, broken glass etc) which accounted for 35% of all homicides.

So it appears there are fighting words that are punnishable in court, however i havn't figured out if I can flip out and attack the offender, or if I would have to report them to the police. If the latter, meh.

Wait a minute, I thought the good guys (i.e. the cops we hire to protect and serve us) were the ones who open carried, and the bad guys (i.e. gang members, etc) were the concealers.
