Pre-flop you didn't have a raising hand but doing it sometimes is ok. Not a really great hand though pre-flop. Good flop, turn wasn't too bad because it killed any lows and you've got TT for someo'es straight cards. The fact that it's another club though sucks. On the river, best you've got is a check and call. I suppose someone could have a lower set or 2 pair to call your value bet but I think most of the time that bet is a loser in the situation you were in. Fixed limit Omaha 8 tournaments are in my view pretty much a crap shoot.

Most people aren't that bad, but there's at least 2 a night that I'm dealing with. Things like 80VP+ or 60+ raises. Crazy stuff.

Like last night. Crazy guy 3 bet shoving any random cards:

AT vs 29 (I lose)
AQ vs Q8 (I lose)
AT vs 98 (I lose)
JJ vs 85 (I lose)

Poker is fun.

Took a shot with my $350 bankroll on one of the $26 FT daily guarantees.

Run like jesus (although I only sucked out once), and am sitting 8/15. Then I lose a massive flip (my AK vs QQ) for the chip lead, knocking me down to 13. Then busto in 10th for ~$380.

So a little br double up, but soooooo frustrating.

I've lately been tilting and spewing online so I've stepped way way down. Playing $0.25 45-mans on Stars. Played two of them last night, took 1st and 2nd. Insignificant cash-wise but good therapy for monkey tilt.
02-27-2010 , 08:16 PM
So for lulz I entered a 100FPP freeroll. 10,000 entrants and I took 40th for $51. Deepest I've gone in a donkament that big ($3300 to the winnar though )
02-27-2010 , 08:37 PM
Nice free monies!

I finally run good after like a week of break evenaments. Closing in on double my original goal for the month with 2 days left..........
02-28-2010 , 05:39 PM
Tournaments are so terrible. Even the 1 a week I play is too much.

Edit: Sweat details

#8/26 (At least $75, 1st $600)
RU Freeroll 142433558 Table 82

Edit Edit Edit: Updated info, going on break.
