Even the Dems gota know by now - they both suck Even the Dems gota know by now - they both suck

is this as good as it gets? the post essentially says "democratic candidates are bad". who cares if they'd be better than gwb, that isnt the point as they won't be running against him. for all the **** gwb gets/has gotten, i would sure as hell hope they'd be "better" than him.

but, if these democrats are so good, why are they both running neck and neck with mccain, when every generic dem vs. rep poll has a 10+ pt edge for the democrats? the "strength" of these candidates seems like a chris mathews/james carville pipe dream.

Why have you put trying in quotes?

You cannot think that I believe Gore. So what is the above referring to?

We know you don't believe Gore. Your lies and disbeliefs about him have been noted and then debunked.

Great question.
Esp. when you realize few Rep are in love with McCain.

Agreed. I was not the one who believe 1,000 Gore's lies. Who were you refering to?

You know, the older I get the more I believe that the form of democracy we have in this country just doesn't work. Sure, that could me due to my age, but I find it disconcerting that as more time passes, less is accomplished in this 2-party, President/Congress stalemate type of system. I've actually been looking more into the Parliamentary system of democracy (ie: England) and wonder whether that would work better than what we currently have in place.

Wow..on the quoting...nevermind sir.

Also it wasn't quite 1,000...

You can take seriously someone who lies about where they grew up. Many of us never will.

Well, the Prime Minister and parliament majority will be of the same party.
If and only if there is a majority.

But look at France in the 50's, Italy since WWII.
Worse yet Gemany in 30's. If you lack a parliamentary majority, you can get ten prime minister in one year or a dicator claiming to restore order.

Whatever the number, you referred to someone who believed them. We agreed that it was not me. Who were you referring to ?

***You are now ignoring this user.***

That's better.

This is a purely scare tactic defense of FTP instead of a critical analysis of the pros and cons of MPS. Your supposed to say that FPTP politicians are more accountable and act faster,(then again even these premises are very questionable). Gl trying to find other strengths of FPTP over multi-party.

Yeah but he's only like 5'6". Hillary's taller than he is.

Because its April...the polls are meaningless unless they showed one side with like a 40-50 point lead. Also people have grown tired of the whole Obama/Hillary sideshow---they have become basically JLow/BAffleck.

Apparently you aren't allowed to get divorced if your wife has ever been injured. They are on friendly terms, wtf do I care?

The fact that less is accomplished is exactly why I think our system is better.

Is she dead? I saw no information stating this. Even if she is dead, then correct my statement to "they were on friendly terms".

If you can't trade in a trophy wife when they get rusty, why bother getting one in the first place?
04-14-2008 , 12:13 PM
Hmmmm. Maybe I spoke too soon. I thought I'd read somewhere that she had passed away but I just did a bit of googling and can't find anything to support that.

Most of us would totally leave our crippled wife for 100 million dollars. Don't be hating.

So, he's pretty much living the dream? Drop the cripple, marry the hot piece of tail with millions? Spreading this story will probably get him more votes

Did McCain's current wife use to be hot? She looks like Satan now...tell me she isn't the scariest looking female in the history of the world with a straight face.
