At what point have you made the attempt at "meaningful debate" since you entered this thread, or any like it?

The problem is you, cool guy. Make no mistake about it.

Don't act all butthurt now.

They've got 1 million soldiers, 2 million reservists. So still dangerous.

There's doesn't seem to be working out for them though, don't ya thunk?

lol @ denouncing the protesters for 'threatening the public order'

It's basically the entire public against you, dude. Their choice to be on the streets.
01-28-2011 , 06:21 PM
Gay, my silly lg vortex doesn't support flash so I can't watch the stream. Anyone stenographize for me?
01-28-2011 , 06:24 PM
He is just spewing delusional platitudes. He's saying nothing of value. But what is clear is that he's not letting go of power voluntarily.

I'll post a transcription once I can find one.

I can already tell that this speech is going to make everything better. This is Mubarak's Reagan Moment.
01-28-2011 , 06:27 PM
"requested the government to step down, have requested a new government effective tomorrow"

what does this mean?
01-28-2011 , 06:28 PM
Lol, "I'll appoint a new government."

Bit late for that....
01-28-2011 , 06:29 PM
Wow so a new government will be in place tomorrow, but the president isn't resigning, and the president is the one who will be selecting the new government?

WTF planet is this guy living on

Obviously trying to pacify the protesters enough to survive the crisis.

Mubarak "We will fight poverty & stand w the poor. Our only way is to work harder" this sounds like Obama's speech

I would think Jordan, or Yemen. Both have already seen fairly large protests this week

Exactly what I thought as I heard it... Sounded a ton like the SOTUA.

Mubarak a tyrant & a plagiarist too

Mubarak should catch the next plane, sooner or later he has to step back, beter he does it befor the riots go on for a few more weeks.

Also the US gov should advise him to step down.
