His approval rating is 47% and over 50% with age 18-54 demographic. His disapproval rating is below 50%, however.
Also, expect Obama's approval rating to slowly shoot up as Americans realize that he did a 180 to the **** show economy GW left. Unemployment down to under 5.8% and for those with a degree it's much less. And Jobs being added by U.S. companies at best rate since early 1990s. By and large our economy has already accomplished what Obama said it would under his watch, and only looking better as he finishes off the remainder of his second term.
Democrats came in and fixed a ****ty economy/recession past 2 times now, cleaning up GW and Bush/Reagan mess with a smile and a flexed arm. Why would anybody ever vote for a republican again?
This is the victory lap and dance for democrats. GOP can EAD for breakfast, everything Dems said about Obama and economy was right
Of course it was an Obama person. There is no way in hell that Obama wants to see Hillary win the prez, he knows how vindictive she is and the possibilities of what she might do to him if she were elected.
When Hillary set up her own server as SOS, Obama just smiled and said, "go ahead Hilldawg, that sounds like a great idea." And she was dumb enough to do it.
We're not invading a country whose capital looks like this:
Well, nothing "enduring" anyway. I'm sure the probability that we'll see "assertive disarmament", "precision strikes" and "collateral damage" in Iran increases dramatically with HRC at the helm (v practically any other Dem).
ikes can't comprehend the simplest of concepts...if Hillary is the best shot at winning in 2016, that's who I'm supporting. She's not the optimal candidate in my mind by far, but I'm taking what I can get. Nominating Hillary with a good chance at winning the general >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> nominating 'Perfect Summation of my Democratic Views Candidate X' who has a greater chance of getting crushed.
But, continue spinning it into "LOL so u guyz like war now???"
It's precisely because of people like you that you get the kind of candidates you get.
When he offered to put tort reform on the table during the great Obamacare freak out of 2009. When he offered to talk about entitlements during the great debt ceiling freak out.
Well I could easily be wrong but it seems to me Democrats are always so heavily on the back foot that they always need the safest possible candidate. Hilary has the cash to overcome the right wing media, no one else really does.
I didn't realize this was needed for the general election. If it was at all effective it would have swayed the last election.
When he offered to put tort reform on the table during the great Obamacare freak out of 2009. When he offered to talk about entitlements during the great debt ceiling freak out.
Wasn't Obamacare more or less an idea that, like, the Heritage Foundation or some other righwing policy group proposed in response to Hillarycare?
This isn't a new thought, but the problem with D's being "fine" with Hillary and thus her not being challenged in the primary is that it shifts the aggregate message further right. Similar to how the Tea Party forces R's to give a nod to the far right (read: crazies), it'd be nice for Hillary to actually have to prove her liberal bonafides.
Pragmatism is winning out over vision, which would be fine a year from now, but doesn't feel great today.
