What is it you think you've proved with this?

FWIW, I've been mocked like this before when I called my Congressional representatives to complain about certain issues.

So awesome.

The guy is white as rice but you just can't help yourself but use an analogy that likens Trump firing Comey to someone getting fired for being black.

More... liberal... logic.

You're going on ignore. No use in trying to have any logical discussion with you. I recommend everyone else do the same.

Schumer can't even get his f'ing tie straight for a speech that will be played over and over and over on the nightly news.

They're signaling that they'll hop on the bandwagon when it's convenient.

So at best, we can hope they'll hop on the first ride out of town once the fire appears out of control and all the buildings are going to burn down, but they're not going to help light the matches or bring any kindling.

To me there's not much to be hopeful about there, and I have always assumed that when and if reality arrives and Trump so plainly fails/is indicted/whatever such that he becomes politically toxic, tons of Republicans are going to emerge from the ashes like they were heroic bombthrowers and arsonists and defended the Republic with their heroic tweets expressing trouble by the timing and reasoning of Director Comey’s termination.
Dvaut,

Huge parallels with your Bill O and the advertisers thesis imo. Fox says harassing women is just the worst but it takes advertisers pulling out before anything is accomplished. Unfortunately politics is even worse as you can't even boycott.

Yes, it is. I'm pretty sure the issue is irrelevant with a lot of liberals. Their position is to be contrarian to Trump. The actual issue is secondary and is why their arguments are often so illogical, convoluted and sometimes outright contradictory.

Also, when did I say I supported Trump with this decision? I didn't. You're "blindly" assuming I am. I was merely mocking the hypocrisy of so many liberal clowns.

People could boycott the Republican party. They should have done this many years ago, and perhaps things would be much different now. They could have refused to elect these kind of fascist, immoral, irresponsible leaders to positions of high responsibility. But the Mayor of Omaha was elected the other day, and it was a Republican. Until the entire country starts boycotting Republicans en masse, we're going down the bad authoritarian road.

Clearly Comey is an unprofesional politically motivated guy who should be fired, but both the Trump and Clinton people are pathetic hypocrites.
It's really sad to see how the same people who repeatedly praised his actions during the election are now fine with firing him for those actions. Where has your concern been all these months? THAT is hypocrisy.

The timing of the firing, months later, in the midst of an investigation into the Trump campaign/administration which is publicly embarrassing and potentially fatal to that administration, strongly suggests it is part of an attempt at a cover up. There is no hypocrisy in calling that out, even if you had called out Comey's moves during the run-up to the election.

Classic authoritarian tactic. Make it look like your power is inevitable and the people are powerless, so they give up and don't even try to fight back.

The FBI certainly was caught off guard

https://www.fbi.gov/about/leadership-and-structure

Comey's still up as FBI director on the FBI website.

Yeah those are the same Republicans that have been blocking our access to Trump's taxes for six months. They aren't doing ****. They know worst case scenario they get voted out and they get cushy job on K-Street.

TT, roughly half of the country is apparently very concerned with the possibility that there was collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians regarding influence on the election.

Assuming that the opinions of ~175 million of your fellow citizens matter to you at all, or that they should matter to the person holding their highest elected office, do you think that the timing of Trump firing Comey, coming as it does just days after grand jury subpoenas have been issued, should be something that they find concerning, or not?

Also, for those who are concerned, how do they know now that the investigation will continue unimpeded? If a new director is appointed, then looks at the evidence the FBI has collected and decides things need to keep moving forward, what's to stop Trump from firing him too?

Finally, if it turned out that Trump himself really was working with the Russians, would you still support him?

Pence just shoveling **** for Trump. Pence implied the administration will drag their feet in finding a replacement. That's a bit dangerous though right? Comey appointee Andrew McCabe will be in charge for now. Who's to say he won't ramp up the timetable on the investigation?
