Chris Christie or Rudy Giuliani Chris Christie or Rudy Giuliani

Both are awful. May as well add Paul Manafort or Jeffrey Lord to the list of potential hacks to be nominated.

Agreed. Rudy had an authoritarian bent to him even during his reasonably successful tenure as mayor of NYC, but he has been straight up bonkers for nearly a decade now. Christie is awful, but he probably would have more sympathy towards civil liberties than Rudy would.

Christie is better AINEC. Christie has actually criticized Trump and has at least some independence. Giuliani will defend everything Trump does even when nobody else will. This is all academic anyway, it's not going to be either of them.

Trump's gonna give put his son in charge of the FBI obviously

Well once the FBI gets merged into the KGB (think of the efficency savings!) presumably whoever is currently the head of the KGB will be in charge.

Neither one. TRUMP needs to promote from within the FBI. Someone who has a lot of experience managing/overseeing FBI investigations and such. A career FBI type who is apolitical. Someone who is highly respected within the FBI.

Either one of these two, Christie or Rudy, would be a disaster for TRUMP.

I heard the name Sheriff David Clarke mentioned. How does he stack up in your eyes compared to the two mentioned in the OP?
05-12-2017 , 09:33 PM
worse. the other two are entirely self interested and could possibly feel it is in their best interest to turn heel on Trump. "I'm my own man now, Pa".

Clarke would 100% not turn heel and just 100% do Trump's bidding because he would have no political capital to turn heel.

Another terrible and disastrous choice FWIW. Just don't think someone not working in the FBI or maybe with recent experience will work.

Horrific human being.

out of the floated list of possible new directors the best one looks like the current acting director. from what i hear he's intelligent and competent at the deputy director job, so he should have a good understanding of the director's job before day 1

of course, that literally guarantees trump will not choose him
