Constitution prevents electors (from that state) from voting for President and VP from same state. Doesn't matter for appointed VPs (I think).

The truly astounding thing about this tweet is that "No Muslims" is maybe not the worst element of this tweet since it's debatable if that's more heinous than deporting children or refusing to accept desperate refugees. Ann Coulter's "completely and total lack of human decency" to word count ratio is truly something, just off the charts, HOF material.

Finally - a reference implementation to practice. I always get that last part wrong. Unless I'm just the right amount of drunk, then I nail it.

PPl supporting the green environmental party in my country actually running around in the evening looking for vegetables and fruit in dumpsters in the capital. Just saw these 4 young ppl looking totally normal on tv running around with great enthusiasm and a flashlight robbing these disgusting dumpsters and eating what they find. They are not poor or anything like that.

They call it dumpster diving.

I think you guys should get into it. You cant just sit on a forum and be pro environment without any real action, you need to own it! you need to get out there in the field and show that you are for real!

i don't think kellyanne will ever get fired/resign either. she was smart enough to pick a job title that is nebulous as to what her responsibilities even are, and she only appears to go on tv to say exactly what the president wants her to say. she's the shadow press secretary who goes on tv all the time and speaks for the white house but without any of the crushing responsibility of regularly answering questions from a crowd of reporters. she's like a HUNL specialist.

and hunl specialists never go bust lol

When Google was rolling out Google Plus they told publishers that not adding the Google +1 button would be detrimental to their search results. The social media reporter at Forbes reported it and Google then leaned on Forbes to quash the story

An article about the California Republican Party's descent into irrelevance, as they just this week forced out their former state house leader over his support for a cap and trade bill

Quote:
The Republican former governor went on to praise Mayes, of Yucca Valley, for negotiating a bipartisan deal to extend California’s cap-and-trade program—an environmental policy Schwarzenegger helped create to curb global warming by forcing companies to pay for emitting greenhouse gases—and called it “a fantastic way to move forward.”

“If the Republican Party will go in that direction then we will have an increase in the membership of the Republican Party,” Schwarzenegger said. “Because this is what the people want us to do.”

The comment illuminated a vast schism among California Republicans, who are divided over how to bring their shrinking party back to relevancy. The very reason Schwarzenegger called Mayes the “future of the Republican party”—his work on climate change—was what ultimately cost him his leadership post. Most of his fellow Republicans voted against the cap and trade bill, even though it was backed by traditional GOP interests including oil companies and the Chamber of Commerce. Republican activists saw Mayes’ support for a program that adds costs for businesses and their consumers as a betrayal of GOP values. They turned up the pressure until he was forced last week to resign. [Schwarzenegger, by contrast, saw a modern Republican taking pragmatic steps to broaden the party’s appeal in a state where voters overwhelmingly support policy to address global warming.

Fun fact: California has been governed by a Republican for 23 of the last 36 years (recently from 2003-2010) and one of its Senate seats was held by two different Republicans (technically 3 but one became governor so a third finished his term w/o an election) from 1977 to 1992. But boy, are they dying fast:

Quote:
Mayes’ ouster shows how hard it is for California Republicans to embrace a more moderate stance. A decade ago Schwarzenegger famously said California Republicans were “dying at the box office” because hard-right politics appealed to so few people in an increasingly diverse state. Since then, the GOP has slipped even further. ...a Republican hasn’t won a statewide contest in California since Schwarzenegger’s reelection in 2006.
And LOL the Republican base is just the nut low of humanity:

Quote:
Earlier this year, he took flack from the right after the Assembly Republican caucus honored gay-rights icon Harvey Milk in a social media post.
