The other weird thing is that the Republican convention had their version of the Khans. Family members of fallen soldiers speaking for Trump and against Hillary. But nobody had a problem with that until Mr. Khan.

Breitbart springs to the rescue

Quote:
As Donald Trump rallied in Florida Wednesday night, firing up Sunshine State Republicans with 95 days to go until the election, Clinton’s underhanded plot to increase Spanish-language migration to the swing state is coming to light.

"Puerto Rican voters have completely upended the understanding of how the state is going to vote in November,” pollster Fernand Amandi said. “They could wake up in San Juan, have breakfast and be registered to vote in the U.S. come dinnertime.”
this is totally not what Politico was talking about literally three hours ago

Quote:
At a Republican focus group last fall, a Cuban-American from conservative Seminole County was asked about Trump’s description of Mexicans who cross the border illegally as rapists. “He’s calling all of us Hispanics rapists,” the man replied. A GOP strategist who was there said he’d never seen that kind of solidarity before. Similarly, at a Democratic focus group this spring, an Orlando-area Puerto Rican was asked about Trump’s deportation policies. “He wants to go after Mexicans now, but we’ll be next,” the man said. A Democratic strategist who watched the session said he had never seen such hostility toward a national candidate.

the funniest thing about all of this, if it wasn't tragic:

Alex is a minority and would get straight up denied admission to any of Trump's rallies

even the word doxxing wasn't around 10 years ago / it didn't become what it is today until much later

that said, I wasn't a big fan and preferred to use my doxx powers on Absolute Poker owners instead

I'm old and bad at the internet. Alex (may) have discovered a guys professors name and wrote him an unfavorable email to the professor. The guy identity may have been known. Maybe this is "trainwrecking" not doxxing.

Maybe I'm missing the point, but googling "Alex Wice" seems to bring up a very public, poker-related person. I'm not sure it's trainwrecking to point to the very public internet presence tied to his chosen screen name.

538 has Trump currently at 25.8% in Polls-Plus. This is I think at least 1-2% higher than their initial poll. What's going on here, are they just assuming a higher volatility level in the election than they did before? Or is 538 just generally full of **** now?

Alex, I seem to have missed your drop in, but when you come back could you tell me why the party of personal responsibility always blames the media for their ****ty candidates? tia!

Hannnity goes full Im taking my ball home and going home you guys suck!

"Fox News host Sean Hannity says Republican leaders will be to blame if Donald Trump loses the presidential election."

“If in 96 days Trump loses this election, I am pointing the finger directly at people like Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham and John McCain,” Hannity said. “I have watched these Republicans be more harsh toward Donald Trump than they’ve ever been in standing up to Barack Obama and his radical agenda.

“They did nothing, nothing — all these phony votes to repeal and replace Obamacare, show votes so they can go back and keep their power and get reelected,” Hannity continued. “Sorry, you created Donald Trump, all of you. Because of your ineffectiveness, because of your weakness, your spinelessness, your lack of vision, your inability to fight Obama.”

He added: “I’m getting a little sick and tired of all of you. I am, honestly, I am tempted to just say I don’t support any of you people ever.”

Weird would imply that this isn't totally standard for them tho. It's never about what and always who.

Humoring Benghazi believing George Zimmerman fans as "Good Reasonable Republicans" just because they offer anti-Trump lip service is an enormous net negative to the country.

**** like this olive branch to the truly and sincerely terrible needs to get curbstomped:

Trump is terrible, yes, but Mitt Romney and **** were real real bad. Do not let the perfect be the enemy of the good, sure, but remember that poor people do deserve health care and food.

Ross Douthat, the effete moderate NY Times right wing writer, had a tweetstorm today that was literally about #white genocide

Donald Trump is the GOP nominee because he believes what the majority of the GOP believe, and unlike Paul Ryan and Douthat and Jonah Goldberg he don't pussy foot around with no egghead talk.
08-04-2016 , 06:51 PM
I don't really care how they got there - if a died-in-the-wool Republican votes Hillary, I'm going to welcome them into the tent. Maybe they'll like it and stay.
