One reporter asked him where he’d lived before moving to Indiana; “I’ll have to go back,” Hollingsworth*said, speaking about his own life, “and check the record.” Pressed on when exactly he moved to Indiana, he finally answered with early summer. Another reporter tried to clarify whether that meant June or July. “I think that’s a good characterization,” Hollingsworth*said.
Yeah. He obviously has been talked into staying on message this past week. He also was talked into using a TelePrompTer when making speeches at his rallies. Don't get me wrong, he is still the worst presidential candidate ever, but I do think that he would be capable of being talked out of launching nukes if he irrationally decided he wanted to use them
There is a terrorist attack on US soil similar to the San Bernadino shooting, and a dozen Americans are killed and dozens more injured. The terrorists appear to have financing from some elements of the Iranian government. A proportional response of some sort is called for / sanctions/ ground troops/ whatever. Instead Trump orders the five largest cities in Iran to be nuked. What do you think the military does in response to that order?
Murder the President?
It would be unethical to not do that should such a situation arise, right? Preventing nuclear holocaust is probably worth getting executed for.
Would something like that happen in a vacuum? Wouldn't he have people around him that would be able to talk him out of it? I know that he is an erratic individual, but I would think even he could be talked out of something like this using reason and logic.
lol. Dude is still calling for the death penalty on five innocent men, who were completely exonerated by DNA evidence and the confession of the actual perpetrator. He has zero regard for human life. He will justify nuking innocents in Iran by saying they are all responsible for creating terrorists. ~50% of the country will celebrate.

I think that it's a really big leap from disgusting rhetoric about innocent men to launching nukes to kill millions of civilians.

Disobey and not nuke the 5 cities? What's the answer damnit!? I mean, it sounds like your question is set up to be answered "that's right. they nuke it all. here ended the lesson."
LOL. This dope is angry at the lamestream media for not reporting about a 300K Trump rally in Philly. Only problem, it's a Cubs rally in Chicago. #Deplorables

The answer is we don't know the answer. And that's why he's so dangerous.

There was a good DVaut post recently about how people need to stop expecting some nebulous authority figure or entity to show up and put a stop to TRUMP. "The Military" in your post fits that description. I think we need to operate under the assumption that if the President gave an order, they'd follow it.

Like, maybe SOME members would refuse, but look at the ****ing FBI. You don't need 100% Trumpist allegiance, just a majority of one submarine or whatever.
Was Trump's daddy a Bircher? They were all into the fluoridation conspiracy.
Not sure what the Birch Society is up to these days but I highly doubt they would be on the Trump Train. One of there core beliefs post break up of USSR is that the new Russia is just another incarnation of the old communist system bent on weakening and ultimately destroying the West. If anything JBS should be looking at the wholesale capitulation of the Trump campaign to Putin as a sign that they are right.
