Tim Cook even says that phones are manufactured in China and Asia due to the lack of skills here in the USA, which is partially true. Consumer electronics manufacture has always been based in Asia (since the Sony Walkman anyway). But Cook is also trying to obscure the fact that Apple sits on over $230B in cash due to China's obscenely low wages caused by the mechanization of China's farmland, same as in Mexico, which forced millions of small farmers out of the fields and into the cities in search of work and food, which drove labor wages through the floor.

Anyway, Comaparative Advantage has zero to do with the price of labor inputs and everytyhing to do with the quantity of labor inputs. If labor quantity is the same to produce a given product in both counries, then there is no Comparative Advantage. Case Closed. End of Story. It is why spices were bought in Asia and wine in France: because their climate and soil made their products better and gave them a Comparative Advantage. Running around saying that China has a Comparative Advantage because they are paid 76 cents a day or w/e makes you look like a stooge. It certainly shows that you never read Ricardo, or read him poorly, and have only an Econ 101 understanding of Classical Economics.

lol. China has comparative advantage in low-skill labor because US workers are better educated and can do high-skill jobs.

She's pretty MAD that the questions about her feeding a debate question verbatim to HRC were based on evidence from the Russian hack.

Before that it's actually more of a disaster, probably worth the ten minutes. Fiery garbage conflagration doesn't quite reach the level of ineptitude in this interview.
