I expect I'm in a small minority on having this opinion, but I think Hillary should sell herself and be positive more than attack Trump. There will be plenty of people to attack Trump.

Every four years the 2 + 2 general election thread proves to be a wonderful treat as wave upon wave of hopecasting like the above crashes upon the rocks of reality, i.e. polling data and stuff. Roll on a long hot summer.

It's like 98% white males here, which is Trump's only plus demographic. Romney got 27% of Latino vote. Trump has no prayer of reaching that after calling them rapists and wanting mass deportation. Romney was extremely popular with married women.

The only women Trump doesn't disgust are those who call him dad or those in possesion of his credit cards. He has an almost impossible path that requires a black swan or flipping Ohio, Pa, and Fla, while somehow not losing high Latino generally red states. Hillary h2h 54-41 over Trump in poll released today. And all indications are that this is possibly the most static divide ever unlikely to flip. Both have 100% name recognition already and opinions are very solid for this early in the process.

The media will be done patting him on his orange head at this point. Last week when he said Hillary had bad judgement on Iraq, unlike him, they let him slide. Next week when he repeats it, they'll ask him wtf he's on about and drag out his on record approval of the war at the time. They'll press him and he'll lose his ****. Warren is already at work reeling in the Bernie crowd.

So it's just me and ikes that think two plus two demographics is not good source to gauge trump support. Yes most are white males here. However, most here are engaged in politics, younger, smarter(?) So it's much different that a "white male" demographic.

I don't think trump will win but it's not going to be a blowout and this thread and the 270 prediction thread shows this forum is in an internet liberal fairytale. Go talk to normal ****ing people outside of your social circles. You will be fearfully surprised.

So to summarize simplictus' TRUMP beliefs:

1) worth 1/10 of what Bill Cosby is (so around 40 million dollars)

Let's see, I (and many others on this forum) was dismissive of the party because they are anti-science, anti-facts, and straight up racist. But because we need two sides to every argument they had to be taken "seriously." Now they've chosen Donald Trump, who has done north but espouse the above characteristics, as their nominee - which one of us was vindicated?

IMO doing the positive thing doesnt work. Even Sanders couldnt avoid going negative. And TRUMP that has attacked everyone blasts them out of the field.

Insofar as Sanders went negative it didn't help. It was a little bit of a hail mary.

Trump is going to win with idiots who think that his nicknames are funny. There's no stopping that. There are a lot of people who don't want to vote against someone who will sit on the couch. Hillary needs to get some of them voting for her.
