For the four who emerged less impressed by Clinton, it was the seeming familiarity of her proposals for the economy and national security that was a turnoff.

I live in NJ. So if I vote anything other than Hillary it doesn't matter.

This may be the first time since I'm a registered voter that I don't vote in the presidential but I will still vote because there are other items on the ballot that are worth voting for, Hillary not so much.

So in reality you are voting for Trump but don't want to be held accountable for your decision. Seems about right.

Bingo, although I think non voters it could be argued are by default the worst.

Continued existence of the Republic not that important. Got it.

Did you risk your life defending it?

Underappreciated moment of the debate was Trump waxing wistful about the Dubai and Qatar airports.
09-27-2016 , 02:53 PM
I'd say that went pretty much as expected.

HRC was super prepared but impressed absolutely nobody and didn't actually say anything of value.

Trump went full "**** IT, WE'LL DO IT LIVE!" but isn't actually capable of winging it. Got baited hard into talking (incoherently) about himself instead of focusing on her.

Overall: boring 2/10 would not waste 2 hours again.

I can't be bothered to read 1500 posts from you guys reacting in real time, but I assume it was a lot of LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL IKES and a notable absence of HRC criticism.

Love seeing how deeply in denial Trump supporters itt are.

This may have been the worst Presidential debate performance since there have been Presidential debates. Even Palin at her VP debate sounded more coherent than Trump.

They've shifted the goal posts to "we'll hillary wasn't that impressive." Cant defend Trump at all so that's all they can muster. This is the lowest trumpkins have been since he decided to run.

Using the criteria that most people here consider important, I agree that's absolutely true.

But I think if people here think that his performance locks it up for Hillary or something, that's some denial as well. The types of people who could even possibly consider voting for him are just looking at this very, very, very differently. Using whatever criteria they're using, I honestly don't know who did better.

I'm glad you were able to remain untriggered for a whole 90 minutes under such extreme circumstances.

From an Atlantic article, I found the site for submitting questions to be considered for the second debate. While it may be of questionable utility to actually vote on them, looking at the most popular questions currently certainly gives an interesting look into the hivemind of the American voter...

lol the question with the most votes is "Why are government officials who fail to protect classified info not prosecuted?"

After that we have

"How will you ensure the 2nd amendment is protected?"

"Would you be willing to either repeal or repair/rework the Affordable Care Act?"

"Why do we continue to provide aid to countries that are obviously NOT our allies"

"If elected will you secure the border?"

a couple that made me laugh:

Globalism, why do you support it or oppose it and why?

Would you, and how wouldl you, reduce regulation of individuals and businesses.

Why are almost 100 million Americans not participating in the Labor Force?

This is the most trending question:

Quote:

Globalism is for elimination of borders and sovereignty supposedly for cooperation for trade and eliminating wars, but Islam supports solely sharia law, seeking to make it the global standard.

How can we afford to take in thousands of refugees from and support them?

Why shouldn't that money be spent to help our own citizens, rebuild our crumbling roads and bridges or help the thousands of military veterans who are marginalized in our own country?
