What? I thought it was trending in the other direction with all the religious nuts multiplying like rabbits.

As far as I know, only The Weekly Standard was regularly saying that Ed Gillespie had a chance in Virginia. They kept publish articles saying Gillespie was doing well and I kept wondering why they were bothering.

Grimes was probably a pipe dream, but how I would have loved to see McConnell's tears.

Saw a voter interview where the guy pointed to Obama's numerous scandals, such as bengazi and the IRS...
Your 3d sentence largely explains your first sentence.

Blitzer's been bad for so long that he's become a kind of fixture. Sort of like [insert your least favorite 2p2 poster here]. Seriously, tho, who are they going to get to replace him? TV news is a dying medium.

democrats won by a surprisingly high amount in NH, but it's surprisingly close in VA (but warner(D) should still win by less than 1%)

Not necessarily crushing since Dems will hold NH but doing about as expected. Only real surprise so far is VA where Gillespie projected to lose by a decent amount in most places but neck and neck with almost all votes counted.

One thing's become pretty darn clear: polls weren't skewed against Democrats.

Republicans aren't cushing, but they're covering the spread. Colorado would be their only unexpected pick up - unless they win VA.

Uhhhh when a team is favored to win by 35 and they win by 42 they still crushed. That's a pretty funny expectation game you're trying to play there.

Rick Scott has crazy-ass Bachman eyes.

Colorado was an expected pickup for the GOP. (69% of 538.com).

Fox called it for Gardner early. RealClearPolitics too (I think they use AP).

So in your eyes a 34-36 point win in a football game isn't crushing your opponent?
11-04-2014 , 11:23 PM
