I'm in search of advice on whether it's possible to hedge a survivor pool in week 17 when I need to make 2 picks. The top prize is $100,000 which will be split amongst those left after the week...currently 12 left. I want to assume everyone picks correctly so worst case pool is split evenly netting me $8,333. I would like to walk away with a minimum of $2K but am unsure the best way to hedge when I must make 2 picks (if it's even possible).

Jacksonville @ Indy (-4.5)
Chicago @ Minnesota (-4.5)
Carolina @ Tampa Bay (-6)
4:25 PM Game
Oakland @ Denver (-2)

Please reply with suggestions on how to make this a profitable survivor pool. Thanks for any and all assistance.

What time do all the group picks get posted?

Group picks don't get posted until after kickoff of the 1PM games

Could you post all teams you have available to pick from? You never know if something unexpected happens to make another team a realistic pick

Going with later games might be the best strategy since you can determine hedge amounts once you see everyone else's picks.

with that being said, if you can't figure out how to guarantee yourself 2k, god help you

+180 on carolina
+200 on chicago
+170 on JAX

Soooo...

2500 to win 5000 CHI
3000 to win 5100 JAX

Leaves you with at least 2K either way.....Assuming you have $5500 sitting around and someplace to make that large of a bet

But you can get +105 on Oakland. If you can get a large bet through right before kickoff, you might know that the 8333 has grown and adjust.
