I can't really explain why he uses the medium of trolling everyone in sight to get his points across, but for the most part he knows what he's talking about.

Cause its a pretty clear example.

If you want to say that frontrunning someone at props is a simple and easy method to make money and I offer a simple example where I'll let you take 10c (2x what was originally recommended) vig off of my props and you decline... It pretty apparent what is going on.

I find the qualitative people are mostly just ******s who putter around in vast circles. Occasionally they'll stumble across something without realizing what they have, and sometimes they'll see the evidence and then willingly choose to ignore it.

There are so many ways of making money sports betting I take the 55/45 thing as kind of a joke.

If I were him and if I played short edges like that I would just take the action on one game and go from there...

Wait a minute. You mean you guys think all handicapping is a number/number crunching game? Like, it goes without saying that splitting hairs on value over thousands of bets is the only way to win?

Oh, did I claim they were the favorite to win? I claimed they were a 25 point dog and that they would win. I took 5-to-1 props, with dozens of witnesses in Caesars poker room. All the moron talk stopped when they went up about 17.

Everything that adds up is not a number, which a lot of mathematicians seem to lose track of in the morass of figures.

Over the poker table on prop bets when nobody around here posts money lines on chalks over 10? How do you figure that? You take what you can get on props and I drummed up 5-to-1 on what I believed was near even-money.

There are times when lines are way, way off. That is easily established. A couple years ago Louisville opened against Kentucky in football and were 10. Over the next several weeks it became obvious that that number should have been about 35 to 40. Louisville was crushing eveyone about 55-10 and Kentucky was the worst team on the schedule. The line was off by 25 or 30 points in that game. It happens.

I think forcing myself to read and understand these posts has helped my tilt so so so much more than anything else.
