what?

machida would probably be at least -500... but king mo ?!

the guy gasses in 5-7 minutes against meh opponents, let alone 25 against the new p4p king

King Mo was considered to be the best freestyle wrestler out there by some, and he's got decent striking.

alexander gustafsson would be live at a high enough number also IMO

I'd like his chances better than Rashad's

Lol are you kidding?

He was holding his own vs Mousasi who just beat Kyotaro, and was doing ok vs Feijao until he ate the knees.

All u have to do is a simple web search to gain knowledge. Read the 1st paragraph of his bio on Wikipedia so you don't have to needlessly be rebutted

oh look its the guy taking +200 on a guy who just defeated TIM BOETSCH against the p4p best fighter.

edit: oooh i see where the confusion is, I meant the striking comment, compared to who? I know he has good wrestling.

I was just thinking of the end of the round where Jones jumped into a (fake?) kneebar attempt and then landed that hammer/back fist as time expired. The guy is so sick...

Man, that was tough to watch. I feel like I need a hug.

I don't think it was a fake. He just switched to the hammerfist when he realized Shogun had his leg hooked and the kneebar wasn't happening. Still impressive.

i think he was just showing off, he heard the 10 secs left i doubt he thought he could finish the fight there.

Bonus showing off/points +might get a free hit in, I like .

Mousasi, has a weak tdd but an active ground game. He's similar to Shogun imo, but his striking is in no way overrated, it's probably closer to underrated.

And how can you claim he is overrated when most publications don't even have him in the top 10...

well he was overrated by most people a little while ago, not so much anymore.

I just think you might be overrating mousasi if you think that king mo barely beating him means anything relevant.

Thank god most publications dont have him top 10 p4p, hes not even close to top 5 in LHW.

It's mostly wanting to see Jones vs. the supposed best wrestler. Rashad would be a good matchup as well since they're familiar with each other, if they do agree to fight.

It's clear tho, that no striker bar Machida if he doesn't get taken down in the clinch, would be much of a threat (and he'd prob be the best too at timing Jones effectively, and maybe even beating him in the clinch). Guys like Rampage, Thiago, Lil Nog would just be taken down and gnp'd.

Since JJ seems unstoppable standing and on top, if someone could actually put him on his back, it would be interesting to see how handles it. Right now, the only ones even remotely capable of entertaining such a thought are Rashad and Mo (maybe even Machida with some weird trips).

Machida used to be my favorite fighter, and still i would take bones against him up to -300. This performance tonight was ridiculous. And after the fight i liked his interview until the end what he thanked jesus christ the most. Right up until then i really considered him to be a cool role model.

rashad is 5'11 :/

i dont know how the UFC will ever sell that fight as anything lower than -600.

I think aside from shogun the guy the most probable to beat jones would be rampage, he probably has the highest % to hit a lucky lights out punch
