I don't think Koscheck's striking has improved all that much in the last three years. He's more comfortable, but he still only throws jab-overhand with an occasional head kick. He's not fluid, he doesn't really use angles, he still jumps.

I also disagree that the first fight was close. The first round was kind of close. But GSP landed 110+ strikes. Koscheck landed 14. Ksocheck did a good job of avoiding big damaging blows, but he did very little offensively.
