I don't see this referenced anywhere and with the World cup coming up I would assume this group is putting pressure on again.

Sucks cause stories like this really make it legalized sports betting even harder to do. I think having it legal though makes this type of stuff a lot easier to spot and harder to do.

Didn't read article but I would be more worried about fixes in boxing. Seems like boxing is riskiest sport to bet on when it comes to judges making decisions in some fights.

boxing and limited overs cricket are the most corrupt sports if you exclude stuff like winter olympic figure skating in russia

it's tough, it's like that story about that eastern european guy on covers who claimed he worked in a bookie shop and gave like 16 straight winners all in secondary/small leagues, not to mention he said the mafia would come in the bookie with briefcases of cash and he would tail them
