Prop question (bet with a friend) Prop question (bet with a friend)

I have a super cocky NY Giants fan friend who is utterly obnoxious all the time. He talks an incredible amount of **** and seems to hate the Redskins as much as he likes the Giants. I tried finding some prop bets online, but I guess they won't be out until tomorrow, after the Monday Night game is complete.

So I'm trying to estimate the odds that the Giants miss the playoffs, and then give him a terrible deal and make him eat his crow. What would you estimate the Giants chances of missing the playoffs to be? Math team assemble!

Honestly if you look at their schedule they are in big trouble.

They have a lot of hard match ups to come except for maybe the Seahawks, Skins twice, and the Lions.

I would say 60-70% they do not make the playoffs.

With out some serious turnover luck, and huge adjustments they will not beat the Texans, Eagles, Vikings or Cowboys.

They have one win this year against the Panthers which is probably one of the 4 worst teams right now. ( I am a life time panther fan -- I am only 21 )

Bradshaw has looked good and Steve Smith can perform but really it just looks meek for them considering their schedule ahead.

If I were you I would consider one thing, how well will Eli spread that ball around day in and day out. They have a great WR core its just whether or not you think he can deliver.

Right now they are 22nd against the air attack.
11th versus the run.

I would assume most games with the Giants will be high scoring because of their depth at WR and their decent run game.

Considering their secondary this will put a lot of pressure on Eli and that struggling Oline.

Texans will destroy them because of their deep threat, and their depth with Foster and Walter to aide pressure off of Andre.

Eagles will beat them because the pressure from Vick being able to run will soften the secondary for J Mac and DJax, as well as open more opportunites for McCoy.

Vikings could be close but when Rice gets back they will be a huge threat versus anyone. Favre has been struggling but with AP supporting him and Harvin finally getting over migraines it does not look good for the gmen.

Cowboys finally got their feet under them and what do you know? Roy Williams can still be a #2 receiver, so when the Giants double cover Austin it will be a field day.

Yeah this was a long post, but really I hate hearing about the Giants and I have a similar bet with a friend of mine

Thanks for the input Destx. Out of curiosity, what are the terms of your bet? Was it was made before the season?

It was made before the season, I put 25u down that the Giants would not win 9 games. Going to be a huge one for me.

** On a side note I also put down 50u the panthers would not win 8. (This is looking like a lock !)

We're friends, he's just a douche. He'll pay me if we agree to terms. I just want to figure out what the terms should be.
