rsigley, the sad thing is the money that you lose on intrade will be nothing compared to the freedoms we will all lose over the next 4 years with Obama running the show.

I am pretty sure that the standard ethic on that forum when discussing political bet is to stick to probability of being elected etc and not start an argument on the political opinions.

Worst thing is Obama was like -120 before they chose VP's...It's like McCain wanted to kill his own chances..I mean I know nothing about running a campain but I'd know enough to pick a senator/governor from Ohio,Penn,Fla Mich,a big swing state that could go either way.Instead he picks someone from a state with the smallest amount of electoral votes who is totally unqualified to run the country...I mean cmon who's advising McCain??

Choosing someone from a small town in Alaska helps him NOT being associated with bush ? A women might help get the democrats who voted Clinton ? A young/women to counter balance him being a white old men (so obama does not have the monopoly of "minority").

Not saying it was a good choice, but I can see how it could make sense.

Not saying anything about her being a woman but if he wanted to get elected get a woman that could help him carry a swing state with more qualifications

I guess I got lucky. I've got $4700 on Obama at even money. I made the bets months ago right across the poker table.

I don't care much about the subject, but its funny to hear somebody bring up Palin and the word qualifications in the same sentence when you have Obama running for Preident on the other side. WTF sort of qualifications does Obama have over Palin. She ran at least ran a state. Obama's never ran **** ever

palin is a complete joke. give it up...... i agree obama's experience is an issue too, but at he's a clue as to what goes on in the world. palin had never had a passport until last year. LOL

Like I said I could barely care less about the subject and I think all of these President and VP candidates are all a complete joke, but anybody attacking a VP about qualifications who was at least qualified enough to be a governor according to voters (no she's not qualified IMO, but she's ran something) is saying such contradictory **** when you've got Obama running for president on the other side who has never ran a single thing in his life. He's been a Senator for a few years, never even ran a state. He's no more QUALIFIED than Palin. Would he be better than her as President, maybe so if not probably, but in no way is he more QUALIFIED at this point than somebody who's ran a state compared to what he's done

Me too, I'm looking to put more at 5 to 1 once I get my stars check.

I feel confident since Obama uttered that "spread the wealth" around line

6 to 1 on MB, thinking about put some money on him since Obama is black after all and this is the U.S.A.

IMO, best bet on McCain right now is Missouri at +200ish on Intrade. Obama winning PA at -357 on SIA seems like free money (only $100 max bet though).

You do realize McCain has 0 executive experience too right? By your logic Palin should be running the country.
