looking at the 27 remaining in KOTH Xtreme pool, 3 people have 3 entries left each. One guy took NYJ, DAL, DAL week 1 and 3 on MINN week 2 wtf?

I was close to pulling the trigger on NYG in some pools but didn't, they were 4-0 vs WAS in recent times, 2-0 vs Cousins etc etc even covered the spread all those games but hard to trust.

Especially with what I thought was a much improved WAS Def but NYG Def ended stepping up more which was a surprise or maybe Cousins is just that bad, had plenty of time in the pocket most of the game and made horrible throws or missed easy ones and eyed the ball in for almost every throw which led to EZ interceptions. If there was ever a week to use NYG it was prob this week, GG.

What do people think of houstons chances this week at home v tb?

There are about 100 out of 800 left in my pool with ~40k up for grabs.

I've used N.E and Pitt and obviously everyone left in pool can use Seattle.

The smaller the pool go with the bigger fave.
The bigger the pool go with the less picked team.

If by aidsing up the thread you mean winning pools, then yes.

He's also the guy that challenged me and 2 others to a 4-way 2,500 Survivor Pool last year. I inquired. He passed

You saved 2,500. Should feel good about that.

I did (I would've taken New Orleans), but that's not the point

Imagine it like this:

Small side: There's 2 of you left.
If you don't take the biggest favorite and your opponent does, he has the advantage on you, every week.

Big side: There's 2,000 of you left.
The biggest favorite is 80% to win the game, and 50% of entrants take them.
That means 20% of the time half the entrants are gone which really increases your equity. So if you can steer clear of the favorite and take say a 70% likely to win, you can stand to put yourself in a much better position to win.

As the small side gets bigger, and the big side gets smaller, these start to merge more. But with the number of entrants you posted, it's fairly clear what the correct strategy is.

And the heads up pool isn't likely to last the whole season so there's less importance for saving good teams.

Spread it out across Carolina, Seattle, Houston & Arizona (in order of importance). No entries on New England

I have the Saints making it closer than it needs to be and possibly pulling out the win. Steering clear of that game.

Hah exact same, but only in 3. Was flipping between Hou and Ari in the least important one. YOLO'd and went Hou.

Cleveland and Jets knocked out a couple of stragglers in my Pools but other than that, a tame week.

A couple on GB tomorrow so we shall see what the Chiefs can do!

Just noticed User 189 cleaned up the Shark Pool. 1 btc entry - 52 btc prize pool. He still has 6 entries remaining, but pool considered done, since he's only one remaining. He had 30 of the 52 entries in that pool lol.

He still has 6 of the remaining 8 entries in the .5 btc pool. 30 of 61 entries in that one.
