I want to start a $5 NFL weekly tournament against the spread and totals for winner-take-all and paid out every week. Its last minute so Thurs games will not apply obv.


The rules are you pick 5 plays with each having a different total from 5-1. Example:

New Eng -4 ........... 5 points
Tenn +7 ............ 4 points
Baltimore -12 ............ 3 points
G Bay/ Minn o48 .......... 2 points
Dallas -6 .................... 1 points


The person with the most points every week will take the prize pool and if 2 people tie it will be split obv. This will be a weekly thing so its $5 per week which means if you don't want to keep playing every week you won't have to. The points will not transfer from week to week.


I will post lines every Monday and update on Thurs. and Sat. You must post your picks in this thread for them to apply and the deadline to submit will be Sat @ 7pm est.

As of now I will escrow the $5 on PokerStars and pay the weekly winners by Wed evening. I am completely open to someone else escrowing like GoldenBears or Legend if they want. This may be too much time for them for such a small buyin.

A little background about myself is a run a Mattress King in Hoover, AL (where two-a-days on MTV was filmed) 80% of my day I don't have customers so I play alot of micro-stakes on Stars and bet on sports just for something to do. I have a huge thread in OOT about mattresses. I run two poker games with about 30 players on Tuesdays and Fridays in the Hoover and Pelham AL area. I understand working for Mattress King has nothing to do with making me qualified about escrowing so if someone reads this thread that is qualified wants to escrow and we all agree thats great. I figured $5 might be small enough to take my word for it.

I'm going to post the lines right now obv. Thurs games won't be in there. If there are at least 10 players interested by Sat @ noon I (or someone else) will collect the buyins on my Stars account. Again the deadline to submit picks will be Sat @ 7pm est.


I prefer for people to post in this thread instead of PMing me so other people will be able to see how many people are interested. If this goes down the money will be collected mostly on Sat. for week 1 by me or someone else we agree upon. If it is me my Stars account is w8oglory (calera).

I appreciate your enthusiasm! If you don't get many takers, don't get too bummed. It's not easy to earn a rep in this community imo. If you're introducing yourself in the post you might not have built the relationships to make a go of this. But I hope you do.

You might also consider getting in on someone else's contest. The 3+1 contest already has three pages of entries.
