Auburn has no depth period, but I don't know that Arkansas will exploit that more than other teams have. Auburn's biggest depth concern is actually at LB with only 4 scholly LBs making the trip. I would think a running team would be a bigger problem. Auburn has a pretty decent secondary and they are probably the best conditioned defense in the conference, thanks to practicing against the Auburn O. (Now if McFadden is out, then all bets are off. But Chizik has said he'll be ready.)

And

MTSU +4.5 2.2 units to win 2L -2.2
Another 2.2 units to win 2 on MTSU at +7 at BoDog-2.2
And just to really make sure I get butchered before Noon Kickoff on Saturday even gets here.

LA Tech +10.5 additional 2.2 units to win 2-2.2
Bowling Green -3 1.1 units to win 1
Pitt -6.5 1.1 units to win 1
Oregon -3.5 1.1 units to win 1
Navy -11 1.1 units to win 1
Idaho +4 2.2 units to win 2
Giving the record the record an update so I can move on from the ass kicking I took during the week.

WTD 1-2 -7.8 units
YTD 38-22-2 +14.6 units

I'll probably think twice before chasing any line moves that I got on the wrong side of, at least in the near future. Seems I need to learn that lesson about once a year. Idiot.

Adding to the Above:

BC +13.5 (-101) 1.01 Units to win 1 (5dimes) (In addition to above bet on BC)

Okay, I gotta be straight. I have been betting sports for years, but have just now started to study where the money goes. Conventional wisdom holds that books move lines towards where the money is going. However, studying the resources here, the Alabama-Ole Miss game has heavy action on Alabama, yet the line keeps dropping towards Ole Miss. Can someone explain this to me?

without commenting on its applicability here, search for "reverse line movement" or RLM in this forum, it's been discussed before.

will everyone who bets parlays please just do us all a favor and never post their picks. I mean when your getting paid 13/5 and its a 3/1 shot and you can't realize how big of a sucker bet it is, why would we ever give any credibility to your selections. A books wet dream when they hear the word parlay. Or teaser. Just stop please.

This may be the hardest FSU game to cap in awhile imo. The only game I've commented on this season was FSU-BYU when the whole thread was all over BYU and I said FSU would win outright, but this game is pretty confusing.

On the one hand, I think it is a great spot for FSU. They've practiced really well, have circled the wagons so to speak in support of Bowden, and I think they will be fired up and play hard. On the other hand, Mickey has been TERRIBLE against option based attacks like GT and UF. His schemes are 15 years old, and he hasn't kept up with the evolution of offenses. Last year, FSU was a play away from winning the game vs. GT, BUT you have to remember that Nesbitt was knocked out about midway through that game. GT was racking up yards and points up to that moment and probably would've rolled to a 17+ point win if Nesbitt plays the whole game.

So basically, you have the emotional edge to FSU, but FSU's defense is horrible and they are even worse vs. option attacks. Normally, I'd hammer FSU in a spot like this like I did in a similar spot vs. BYU, but I just can't here. Instead, I think there will be a ton of points scored. GT is obviously gonna score a ton of points, I don't care how fired up FSU's D is, they just plain suck. If you think FSU is going to win, then the much safer play is just to take the over. I think FSU's offense will be clicking like they did vs. BYU, and I think this game will be a shootout. Someone will win in the ballpark of 38-34, but I'm just not sure who.

It was weird, I stopped in the Excalibur sportsbook to watch the last couple minutes of the OSU-Wisc game, and they had it on a couple small TV's, while Oregon-UCLA was on the big screen TV with one minute left and the score 24-10. The UCLA QB got sacked, a completely meaningless play in relation to the spread or total, and a bunch of people start clapping and cheering. A minute later Wisconsin fails to score on 4th & goal, a play that decided both the spread and total, and one dude other than me made any noise.
