I am just wondering what is the standard half time handicap for a given game ?
IE : team A is at -10 for the full match, what the fair handicap at the half time -5 ? all the time ? depends ?
I am asking because yesterday I found atlanta at -5 for the first quarter when they were at -15.5 on the entire match.
Bet was even money.
I took the bet as I figured it had a lot of value, even though it obviously failled, I am interested to see if other people would have seen value in it.

Depends on halftime scoring margin. Generally half the full match spread +/- up to about 4 pts. Per your example, Team A is -5 if they lead by 5, -1 when Team A is crushing their opp., and -9 when Team A is getting crushed.
