I ended up putting 1u on U48.5 for reasons already mentioned. Even if the typical MNF voters come in and bet the over, I really don't see it moving to 49.

For the talks of this "potent" Denver offense:

Jay Cutler, 2 out of the last 3 games, has a QB rating under 80.

This isn't the sizzling Denver that was on display the first few weeks.

But...I love writing my own opinions even when they are naive, idiotic, or just plain WRONG.

Denver's O looked great in the first 3 weeks but deficiencies will be exposed quickly in the NFL. Cutler has a gun but makes mistakes and gets rattled easily. It's still an open question as to whether he has the meddle to win big games. Marshall is phenomenal, but there is no other receiving threat with Royal hobbled. And no standout RB either.

On the other side of the ball, the Broncos D has deficiencies that can't be fixed without new personnel. To put it in simplest terms, they have the slowest secondary in the league.

We all know the problems with NE. Quarterback that is not ready for prime-time, and an aging D that can't get consistent stops anymore.

My prediction: Bellicik exploits Broncos main weakness (D) and scores 30+ tonight. You guys can take it from there.

Earlier today I found u41.5 @ +220 at the Greek. I went to click to bet it and the line was +230 (usually the opposite happens to me). Its back down to +210, I like it less there and had I not grabbed it when i did I'd be on fence at 210 but in for sure at 220 or better.

I picked up Pats -2.5 -120 when at the time I though -3 -110 was my only other option. I get home and seen -3 +106 and was like eh lost some some there.

I actually been questioning why I am so reluctant to bet more. This situation is near always an automatic bet for me, but think last weeks game stuck in my mind too.. yuck.
