Let's list them

Silva
Sonnen
Belfort
Okami
Bisping
Stann
Paul Harris

I'd prbly put him ahead of Bisping and behind Okami IMHO. Bisping could be #3 though. They're pretty congested

If any of you dudes want to watch the prelims and main card.

Man if only silva didn't exsist that division could be cooler to watch, but as is you know any fighter that is in contention has .0008 chance of winning.

lol told ya.

I'd say Lombard beats Okami, Bisping, Stann, and loses to Belfort, Sonnen, Silva. No idea about Tree Stump, I suppose I'd have to favor Lombard though.

I think Okami smothers him IMO. I'm admittedly high on Okami tho.

I had Michel winning, come on Ruskie

After deliberation...going with Jones/Browne parlay.

Waiting on props for Jones to finish.

I'm worried about several things about Lombard. His gas tank has never been that great - if he fights a guy like Bisping and doesn't knock him out early, can he keep up the pace into the later rounds? He's already 34 and is more likely to get worse in the next two years than to get better. He's also quite short, which could come into play. Just some stuff to think about. He's a top ten guy, but I'd think he's closer to the the bottom.

lol indeed. Aoki is so much better in Japan where he can wear his pants, fight in a small ring where it's easy to trap people into the clinch, and let your opponent worry about massive jet lag, not you. It's really a massive disadvantage for him to fight in the US.

Also, fighting Rich Clementi instead of Alvarez/Melendez doesn't hurt.

I think he should prbly be able to get Bisping out of there. I agree w/ the tank against a guy like Okami or Sonnen but he did go 5 w/ Shlemenko and went into the 4th w/ Hess and obv the majority of the fights are still 3 rounds.

TRT on the age tho

All great points and stuff I've considered. On the age thing, I don't think that's too big a concern mainly due to the fact that he has so little mileage on him the last few years. Not many fights and many of the ones he did have were really short lol. Mileage > age. Gas tank def legit knock though.

@Dodger is he confirmed TRT user? I've always suspected Lombard is juiced (how can you not?) but never heard anything concrete.

TRT isn't juicing. Sonnen and Hendo have doctor's notes. I'm just saying you can fight father time easier than ever.

But I mean, cmon, of course he's prbly roiding.

I think the shortness helps him TBH

Mir announced vs JDS. Praying that the books open with JDS at any sort of reasonable odds.

Also, I found myself watching some escudero and danzig video online, and for some reason I find myself really liking escudero at those + odds. I can't even really articulate why exactly. I'll probably throw a half unit or so on him. I'm really not sure why I suddenly like him, but I think he's got a great chance in this fight.

lol it's juicing for all intents and purposes. If you believe any of these dudes "need" testosterone for any reason other than "have juiced in the past, thereby ****ing their endocrine systems" then you will believe just about anything.

Escudero is just such a flake. Hard to trust a guy who looked completely apathetic near the end of his UFC run. But I've seen lots of ppl who do think Escudero has a good chance.

I honestly think JDS should open at like -600 here.

I didn't, seems like he's only dropped from -200 to -203 so not too huge a difference

Accidentally found out Pichel won and Aoki while looking for the videos so meh i'll watch it later, up 1.5u between the two bets though

At the moment I have 2.5u on Torres and 0.2u on Evans and Mills

I'll probably make the rest of my bets last minute but I hate this card for betting

Hope Cain opens at -200 or something against Bigfoot, he's just the perfect type of fighter to beat Bigfoot imo

It's more a thread where we discuss bets then just bet at sportsbooks but if anyone wants that kind of action on Jones you're fine with making bets in thread to avoid vig

Current best lines are +400/-400 on Evans/Jones, bestfightodds.com etc

Cain is gonna be like -400 I'm guessing.

i swear there used to be a thread (when i was more active 7-8months back) where ppl used to bet against each other to avoid vig
and the vig free lines were calculated according to a certain website link i unfortunately forgot

but i guess ppl dont do that anymore.

UFC 146 just got a whole lot less interesting. JDS is going to completely destroy Mir. Betting under 2.5 is given here imo. Mir has just looked so sluggish in the past and he's not a takedown monster by any means so it's not like he's going to be able to turn it into a grappling match. Oh boy. Why did he have to get caught, that card made so much sense in terms of contenders and ranks.

Random but just saw Gray Maynard can be got at -325. Seems well underpriced, don't see any way he loses to Guida, he is just better everywhere except for submission offense.
