New lines up at 5d, adding:

2.5u Nurmagomedov/Trujillo u2.5r +125
1u Pat Barry/Shawn Jordan u1.5r -110

Reallyyy like the Nurmagomedov under. Also kinda like Mike Pyle +160 vs Rick Story.

To make it worse, Healy has to forfeit all $130K of bonus money from that night.

That's life altering for him.

Pyle +160 does seem like value.

Oh damn, I feel sorry for him. Though, he only has himself to blame.

Nurmagomedov -268 seems like a lock. I think Nurmagomedov and Khabilov will both roll through the competition in one sided beatdowns until they start facing top 10 guys.

Cariaso and Dias odds keep getting worse but as long as I get both at + money i'll be happy (too lazy to move money to a diff book from Pinnacle for the size bets i'll be making)

1u @ -115 on Evans placed.

Didn't you get slightly better odds than that Swoop?

EDIT: Yes you did, make that 2u on Evans now. Also considering a Santos/Texeria/Maynard/Velasquez parlay.

Wow. Yeah.

According to Dana White, it's possible that UFC veteran Nate Diaz may lose his job over a series of Twitter messages that included a gay slur towards Bryan Caraway.

Earlier today, the younger Diaz brother called Caraway "the biggest *** in the world" for accepting $65,000 originally given to Pat Healy—bonus money from UFC 159 that was revoked when the former Strikeforce lightweight tested positive for marijuana.

Not only did Healy lose out on $130,000 in "Fight of the Night" and "Submission of the Night" bonuses from his bout with Jim Miller, but Caraway—the only other fighter on the card with a submission win—was retroactively awarded the submission money.

I forgot, did anyone send Pinnacle the mail about including more betting Options?

If not, I say we do it 24h from this post or something? Maybe we can compose a similar letter, feel free to edit and improve it.

Hello,

I'm sending this letter to ask if it is possible to include more betting options on the MMA sections, more specifically, prop betting such as how a fighter wins(via decision, TKO/KO, submission), what round etc. A lot of us are betting on MMA, but we have to go to other books for prop betting which is a shame because we all enjoy Pinnacle Sports very much.

Regards,
X

Something like that maybe?

I think Vera can pull it off, Rothwells takedowns aren't that good. Strange to see Vera go to HW again though, I think he can only do good vs some fighters there(one of them is big slow Rothwell), feel like he's going to get overpowered by a lot of others. Guess we will be seeing him TKO Mir now a 100 times at least, and him talking about it is his natural weight class and how he did so good there.

I will under one condition - someone tell me what the hell ITD stands for? Every time I see it I spend 5 minutes trying to figure it out. I bet on every single UFC card but I am still oblivious to anything that isn't just a straight victory bet.

Belfort 0.5u at +108
Hacran Dias 1u at +118
Dias/Lentz 3u over 2.5r at -201.
Azamat 1u at +120.

so far. Belforts cardio has actually looked pretty good lately. He is pacing himself much better, just like he did in the Rich Franklin fight. Idk much about Rockhold so I'm not loading a lot on Belfort.

Yeah I got -105, had a feeling Evans would close as a fav so I bet early when they were both -105

Ahhhh, thanks guys. I wasn't sure if the D was distance or decision.

I often do props for boxing but never MMA, guess it's just me always going on auto pilot. The only thing I don't like about Pinnacle is that their interface isn't exactly the greatest :/

Added a few more bets in addition to the Belfort bets I already have.

5u Dias +117 average (had to make 2 bets to get 5u down)
2.5u Cariaso +120
1u Maldonado -241
1u Tibau -189
0.25u Dunham +169 (line seems about right but worth a sweat, i'd bet Dunham more confidently outside of Brazil)
0.25u Jacare/Camozzi u1.5 rounds -105 (figure this is a flip but should be a fun sweat)

Well if Rothwell is fat slow Rothwell he can win, or if he can outstrike him without getting caught. Vera is going to be a pretty small/weak HW but he'll have good striking and speed for the division so there's that. I think he can beat the worst few HWs but will lose to anyone good.

Anyone got thoughts on my Dias/Cariaso/Maldonado/Tibau bets?

I feel like Dias is a better grappler than Lentz as long as he can avoid being taken down and LnP'd he's a decent fav the way he handled Alcantara gives me a lot of hope for him - I mean he has one loss in a similar number of fights to Lentz who has five losses. Capped him at -150 so pretty happy I can get him as a dog.

Cariaso I think is a small fav over Formiga who did a whole lot of nothing before getting randomly knocked out by Dodson. I expect a fight where not much happens and Cariaso wins a close decision if I had to pick so again pretty happy to get him as a dog. He's very small even for a FW but I think he can get it done a lot. All of Formiga's wins are over non-UFC caliber guys, Cariaso at least has a few wins against guys still on the roster.

Maldonado has lost a few in a row but at least looked somewhat competive, Hamill looked out of shape and terrible against Hollett and assuming he doesn't get LnP'd i'd imagine Maldonado will destroy him standing.

Tibau/Cholish thought process is Cholish got decisioned by Castillo who is a smaller worse Tibau, and Tibau hasn't been afraid to use his wrestling to grind out wins lately. I think Tibau may even be worth a bigger bet, not sure if i'm going to add more yet. Basically, Tibau is a gatekeeper to the top 10-15, he'll beat guys who aren't top 20, flip vs guys who are 13-20ish and lose to top 12 or so guys most of the time. Getting 30-27'd by Castillo (I don't remember the fight offhand) says enough to me that Tibau can handle him... actually, I think i've convinced myself. Tibau's last 4 opponents are all top 20-ish guys and he split it 2-2, Cholish is a decent step down in competition for him and Cholish has never faced anyone on Tibau's level

Adding 2.1u on Tibau and 1u on Cariaso
